So not really related to GB, but I'm going through SR3 right now, and my feelings on it are pretty meh.

It suffers the same problems in GTA for me in that the city is boring as fuck to actually explore/roam around in, and the shooting, while better than GTA, still isn't actually good.

Plus some of the story stuff feels weird, such as in pimp up, hos down,
why am I suddenly drugged up?
It doesn't show why and I'm pretty sure I didn't skip a cutscene.

Wonder if we'll see the "Check yourself before you riggety-wreck yourself" Award for things that needs to take a break before they become the worst trend.

It was pretty fucking great: http://www.giantbomb.com/news/erik-wolpaws-top-10-games-of-2011/3883/

Look at those games. Man's amazing.

7. Sonic Generations

Other than last year’s amazing list of the Top 10 Hottest Female Sonic Characters, it’s been a long dry stretch for this franchise. But, man, Generations is the perfect blend of nostalgia and sensible updates. A great, great gamey game.

That video link, fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck man.

There's a bunch of stuff going on audio-only during the "load screen" after you get in the van.

They seem to have an irrational distaste for the vita. Every time it comes up in the podcasts Ryan and brad admit they have barely played it but they speak about it with a dismissive tone. They speak about the wii U and each of them have plenty of reasons about how it disappoints them. It just seems weird that they want to sweep it under the rug whenever it comes up as if it is some worthless machine whose only value is a ps2 port.

Or maybe they haven't really played any games which are exclusive that they liked on it barring Persona 4 Golden?

There's your answer.

I would listen to the bombcast if they would write a rundown with timestamps. 2+ hours is too much without any way to skip and choose the interesting parts.

First 1/2 hour to hour- what'd you do this week?, inside baseball, off-topic
next hour- games you played!
next half hour- releases
next half hour- emails

The most recent Bombcast marked the start of the sea change that will result in everyone's favorite games canceling each other out and Mass Effect 3 ending up as Game of the Year.

I'll try this one more time. I have an extra Steam copy of the Witcher 2 that I bought during the last sale. If there is anyone here with a PC capable of playing it and is also interested in actually playing it, the first person to quote this post with a Giant Bomb meme can have it.

I guess the majority of Gaf members interested in the game probably already own it.

China don't care.

Steam name: justjim89

Edit: In the interest of discretion, I do already have Witcher 2. But I was planning on gifting it to a buddy of mine who's been wanting to check it out.

Ryan's a narc.

Getting a gaming rig very soon, would love it! Steam Id is my username

Just a heads up to those downloading the Giant Bomb crew on WWE 13. The person who made them forgot to copy the clothing for everyone's appearance in entrances and cinematic moments, so if you don't make the copies yourself they'll appear in said scenes only wearing underwear. Not a pleasant sight, let me tell you.

Also they all have the default entrance. I'm going to think what WWE songs and entrance animations are best suitable for everyone.

Who will provide the plot twist this year? Best moment of last year.

Edit: Wait, the comments say that's Patrick saying that? No way... that's definitely Vinny right?

No wait, actually maybe it is Patrick, because Vinny starts a sentence beneath it. Man that's freaky how much it sounds like Vinny there.

Sorry, Patrick, for the last year I've given that credit to Vinny, haha.

Personally I wouldn't put TWD as GotY. I really liked it, but it was just a nice ride. Also they did the Mass Effect thing where your choices don't really matter, that rustled my jimmies.
