Spike VGAs Reveals [Use the new thread linked at the end of this one.]

I'm excited to see the reveals/new footage. Couldn't care less about the awards to be honest. TLOU and the new games are what I'm interested in. The only chance I think we'll see something Nintendo related is if Betrayalnetta is there. I guess Retro's game could be in the cards as well if they're targeting more of a "hardcore" demographic like I think they are, but it's extremely unlikely we'll see them.

Have we heard anything else about the the thing that will make old-school gamers happy?
 
So anyone going to be using smartglass while watching this? Sound quite fun what they're going to do with it during the show.

Well, that's surprising.

Can't be far off from a reveal, though. Perhaps one of the next couple GI covers.
 
In all honesty the hype has reached such a critical level I don't even think its possible for it to meat expectations...

Thief 3

My body will never be ready but I'll willingly accept them all!!!
 
I would have liked to see something from Destiny, but since the cat was let out of the bag, I'm more interested in seeing something more... unknown.

Maybe.....just maybe Respawn might have their new IP here after all. I would be amazed if they can pull off the same hype they did with CoD 4
 
One of those has to be Doom 4, it has to.

Did anyone guess they might reveal that Unannounced Rage Scorchers DLC? (lol)

This year's edition of Spike's annual Video Game Awards show, to be broadcast live on Friday, looks to get gamers involved.

Rather than just sit back and watch, viewers can tune in on Xbox Live and interact with the show using Microsoft's SmartGlass application. Poll questions will pop up regularly during the telecast, 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT, and viewer responses will affect how the show progresses.

"It will be everything from what do they want to see (host Samuel L. Jackson) do next to which (video game) premiere we play next to 'The coolest weapon' and Sam will walk out with it," says Casey Patterson, executive producer of the VGAs and Viacom's executive vice president of entertainment production. "They will be programming the content they want to see when they want to see it via these questions in real time. And our host will be in a conversation with them live, which is just unbelievable."

If Fallout 4 is teased tonight, I'll cut off my leg on webcam live for GAF. That is how confident I am it's not going to happen. :(

I think only established franchises could get away with just going the CG trailer route for me to get excited. Skyrim did it a couple years ago and that was fine. If Bethesda did something like that with Fallout, that would be cool.

For any game that's a brand new IP though, they'll have to show off something a bit more than a bare bones teaser or CG trailer, otherwise it'll just get a confused shoulder shrug from me.
