Was this recently or still at Whiskey Media (Whiskey support worked quite well and efficiently)? Did you mail their support form (never got any response while at CBSi from that)?
I love that GiantBomb's support site still lists their Whiskey Media address - really shows how serious they are about solving issues: support@whiskeymedia.com

ME3/Envelope spoiler:"Shepard is the Catalyst"
I don't think that is as close as they are suggesting. Since there wasn't anything special about Shepard besides being the guy that ended up there. Right?
Or maybe I blocked all details of that shit out.
Jeff spitting truth about the Indoctrination Theory crackpots.
Now I'm wondering if Brad has read that Chris L'Etoile post about what the ending and the final choice was planned to be as of Mass Effect 2's release.

I just read the ending on Wikipedia. Doesn't sound especially bad. I actually like the idea for the fourth ending they added in post release.
Speaking of that, is it true that Indoctrination was at one point the planned story for Mass Effect 3? It seems there are left overs from that in the game.

I don't know what a Chem Trail is and I'm scared to look it up

Should I refrain from watching ILM if I haven't played ME3?
You know how planes leave those white trails of condensed water vapor in the sky when they fly over?
WHAT IF THEY WERE MIND CONTROL STERILITY CHEMICALS FROM THE ILLUMINATI
Should I refrain from watching ILM if I haven't played ME3?
I have, yes. I've read everything.
Everything.
how long does the critical path of ME3 take? i've played 1 and 2, but i lost total interest for 3 before it came out. but i kind of want to finish it before 2012 closes.
SameI haven't finished (or started) ME3...
I am now avoiding GB content. Oh no...

The thing with the Indoctrination Theory is that it was giving WAAAAAY too much credit to BioWare's writing to do something like that. There was no way BioWare made the original ending they did and then seriously had Indoctrination Theory in mind with any of it. That was just the result of people in denial over how shitty the original ending was.If they in any way intended that Shepard was indoctrinated at the end, then they would have revealed the "Shepard is indoctrinated!" twist within the game itself and then given you some actual ending.
Keep in mind, the even crazier people were saying that the Extended Cut was going to prove the Indoctrination Theory, because it was going to be the real ending that Bioware purposely left out in order to fuck with its fans.

Indoctrination theory = best theory (I did want to believe - but only for a short time :/)
Indoctrination theory = The only way Brad keeps getting those GOTY wins. Ryan was clearly indoctrinated when he picked Skyrim
Yeah I was a huge fan of the first two. Got really into the lore. I played about 2 hours of me3, got busy, the ending reaction hit and totally killed my motivation to pick it back up.Have you played the previous games in the series? A lot of what makes it bad isAlso, at least in its original form, it was executed in probably the laziest way possible.how it disregards a lot of the rules they established, nonsensical motives for characters that does not jive at all with earlier interactions, the fact that it introduces huge universe changing concepts in the last 10 min of the final game of a trilogy, its tone, which is nothing like the rest of the series and creates probably a dozen significant plot holes.
It is so crazy that people would rather, basically have no real ending to a 100 hour RPG trilogy than the one they gave us. Indoctrination is only better because it doesn't retroactive ruin previous games.
When that Last Hours of ME3 app came out and included the infamous Ending Notes, the reaction was around 60% "Oh, so it was just vague and meaningless on purpose," and 40% "Wait, but there's no mention of indoctrination!?"

"AND LOTS OF SPECULATION FROM EVERYONE"
I honestly think that the indoctrination theory only came about because fans literally couldn't accept that Bioware would write an ending that terrible on purpose and tried to figure out a way that it wasn't awful.
