How about in NA?

We dont know PS+ offers for december in NA yet. Typically get to know them 1 day before they go live.

In anticipation of the Velocity related reveal:

My guess as well, but since the other isnt completely out of the question, we should keep the expectations in check :p
Also, if they get to release one game on PSN, does that mean their others could get released on PSN too or do they need to consult with Sony for each individual title? I'd love that upcoming puzzle game on PSN for leaderboards alone.

Btw, its incredibly cool they are taking note of the community. OneLoop games on the other hand apparently doesnt even answer their emails >:(

Who knows, i suppose. I know Velocity did really well for them, so i can't imagine it was a hard decision for them to do a sequel/re-release. Suppose there are a lot of different factors. I know a couple of Minis have had full PSN sequels (Cubixx HD comes to mind...sure there are others but i can't think of any right now).

And yeah FuturLab are awesome at engaging with the community. James Marsden is such a nice guy.

Another astronomically stupid idea from SCEA, I'm specifically holding off spending my monies on Video games to see what kind of content we get from PS+. If they'd release the info before hand then I'd have already spent my money.

Has a PSO game ever been good outside of the Dreamcast version?

Well, if it's any indication, the game clock on my PSO2 account reads at around 580 hours, and that doesn't even include time spent in closed and pre-open beta.

It's going to be a very long time before the Vita version comes out in Western territories, if at all. I suppose with the boxed version, it might be possible on any account, but that depends on whether or not connecting to PSO2 requires connecting to the PSN, and the Japanese PSN in specific.

The version I'm buying is a limited edition gimmick with some free items. If you love PSO like I do, though, it's worth it just to see it on the shelf again.

I believe it was confirmed either via the PSO2 update blog or a 4Gamer interview or something that it will require a JP PSN account and only one Sega ID can be linked to each PSN account.

I played through half the game without any patches, it's not hard to play with the bugs, it was just slightly dangerous to play with the 'Save Corrupting' bug out there. Now that it's patched out, there are very few bugs that you'll have to worry about. The only one I can think of now is the 'Dressing Room' bug in which if you try to buy the last dressing room on a map (probably while something else is happening) then you will go blind. Well, not you, but the character. Toma has a screenshot.

Oh, that doesn't sound so bad! :P

speaking of ZHP, as far as dungeon crawling/rogue like goes, which is better ZHP or Cladun X2

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7Oz2RU-jyM

honestly, just looking at trailer, I'm more interested in Cladun X2, but never got to play it on psp.

It depends on how you feel about difficulty. The difficulty seems to ramp up after completing half the dungeons. While I like the Cladun games (there's also a Cladun-like on the PS3), I'm not seeing myself finishing any of them in a long time :/.

ZHP is a much easier game to complete with most of the difficulty packed into the optional dungeons. I somewhat wish that Sony put the PSP Go's save state system into the Vita. I abused that feature so much with ZHP (in-dungeon save and reset, lol).

Its an "easy" game? The trailer made it look balls hard.

Oh, that doesn't sound so bad! :P

Vita is for EXTREME gamers only. If you're afraid of losing your sight, then you aren't EXTREME enough.

It's balls hard in the same way that other Roguelikes are balls hard. I had to grind quite a bit to get through the story, but it depends on how well you set up your base. The good thing is, the grinding is still fun.

Geez, I already posted 155 Vita screenshots.

Ah okay, that sounds better. I really want to sink my teeth into this game.

Just annoyed the devs of Uncarded on their private Facebook page. Maybe they'll see my message now, but oh god I hope they dont hate me. I feel so bad for writing official stuff on someone's personal FB :/

Who plays a roguelike and doesn't grind for something?

I will admit that the first time I beat the game I was underpowered. The boss was absolutely destroying me at short range. IIRC I spammed the hell out of some ranged attack that was on a hat dropped earlier by something.

Finally downloading the AC3: Liberation patch. Can't wait to get back in.

I downloaded the patch but I think that when the savefile is corrupted you have to restart everything from the beginning... I have no intention to redo everything... any suggestion gaf?

Nope.

This is cool:

EDIT: This is for Big Sky Infinity, for those that can't be bothered to click the link. :p

That could be indeed nice. Guess the Infinity versions is looking quite a bit meatier than the PC version.

Well whaddaya know, Smart As got a patch last night to resolve the online sync issues.
Guess it had been in the works.

Is Tune available in the US store? I haven't logged into PSN in a while and won't be able to until late tonight.
yes.

Sweet, maybe I'll have to try adding my german account then. I thought you had to use two memory cards from the early threads about it.
Oh,you definitely need two memory cards for different accounts.
You can just back up to the same PC.

So there isn't a way to play FFXII on this yet, right? I mean a legit way...

There isnt even an illegal/illegitimate way. And if Square doesnt make a remake, I doubt there ever will be.

I thought that Sony own the IP of every game they publish. Oh well, they're doing a good deed.

It's a strategy that has come to bite Sony in the ass before. I realize why they do that, but ehh.

There isnt even an illegal/illegitimate way.

Not entirely true. There's no native way to play FFXII on Vita, but if you use that PSMobile homebrew PC to Vita streamer you could run PCSX2 and stream it to Vita, lol. However, now you have to pay the $99 publisher fee to run PSM code on Vita.

You guys have BoF 4 though, which is waaaaaay better.

BoF 4 does not make up for anything.
Even if it carried some weight in the discussion, the fact is, your Sony will eventually procure it for you and it will be Vita compatible. NA will be waiting for BoF 3 and the rest of those PSOne games forever.

I just started playing on my new White vita and i could swear the wifi reception is worse than my black 3g Vita...

is that even possible??

I wish my vita was white... lol... sick of fingerprints.

Black looks slick when it's clean, but it shows everything.

A single memory card can be used if you're willing to reformat it each time you switch accounts. Using dedicated cards for each account is just far faster and simpler.

Yeah, it's a huge hassle otherwise.
2 cards is still a hassle, but saves the time of backup/restore.

From the hardware thread:

I post it here. Sorry if it's the wrong thread to do so but I didn't find a better place as well as a thread about this rumour coming from the French website Gameblog.

Quick translation of the key content of this news : the website is claiming to know, from one of their source, that a new Vita is planned to be released at the end of 2013. This model should allow Sony to drop the price, always according to Gameblog.

I don't know how reliable this rumour is, so take it with the usual grain of stuff.
Oh boy,i hope it's a slider design and comes with sufficient internal memory @$ 199 alongside a game.

I've only had my Vita for just over a week but my 16GB card only has 2GB left free. I honestly thought I'd be safe mainly going with carts but then GAF came along and sold me on PS+ and PSP downloads.

Those 32GB cards are just so damn expensive.
