My childhood dreams re-imagined. Such a huge Reeves fan and this finally looks to capture what the Man of Steel is all about.
 
Great trailer and this moment of taking off and him in earths orbit... chills. Absolute fucking chills.

However going by the rumours and depending on the climax of this film, the Fortress could be a great way of setting up possibly Brainiac for a sequel...?

I don't know... The trailer got me by the balls until he skyrocketed towards space. From then on, it downgraded my excitement to where it was before I even knew the trailer was out.
 
I think John Schneider played a good Jonathan Kent, but there were often times when he was written FAR too preachy for my tastes. I like him suffering a little bit of moral strife in the name of protecting his son. Like others have said, it gives him an extra dimension.
 
I don't like the Jonathon Kent line, doesn't fit the character, but we don't what he and Clark says after that. Overall I am really digging the look of this movie. I am officially starting to get hyped. CG cape is bad though.

And I am only ok with Lex if we see him as a true evil genius. If we get power suit Lex fighting Clark in movie 2 I am ok with it. Would rather see Braniac though.

In the past five years, I think I got most hyped by Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, again where the trailer was better than the film.

The best for me was Where the Wild Things Are with Arcade Fire, Jonze could have stopped at the trailer and it would have been a brilliant adaptation of the book.

Would also love to see Idris Elba as Luthor, just for giggles.

I feel this is part of what really made Superman Returns suffer too - trying too hard to try and make sense of how Superman could fit into the world today. I don't think they need to do that. Just make a big fun colorful movie about an invincible alien who comes to Earth, grows up, and does things we cannot do, making the world a safer place.

Returns approach was super dumb though, especially with the baggage of the old films. I think this looks fantastic so far.

Sounds probably about right. I don't think they would have cast him for this film going by that.

To be fair, Returns was as good of a film as it could possibly be. The anchor of the old material was just crippling for any sort of real progression.
 
I love this trailer.


I love Superman Returns as well. (I know its boring, but It's shot beautifully, and Fucking Kevin Spacey had fun play Lex).


So far, everything is looking good for this movie. I love the shot of him getting ready to take off and the snow is moving away as he draws in power. I want this movie to be good so fucking much.


I still am not a fan of the suit.


Amy Adams as Lois Lane is a nice touch as well, wish they would of had her a bit more in the trailer.

Alright Snyder, You have me.. don't lose me.

Also whoever is the DP on this movie, is making it look beautiful. (the shot in antartica, with superman walking and the sun on the right side is awesome).
 
Great trailer. Liked it at lot, it might be even better with the OST. Expectations rising.

Liked the maybe line, Pa Kent conflicted and multidimensional? Yes please.
 
Watched it a few more times. It is flat but the visuals look great so I'm happy.

It must be stressed that the leaked script was very good. I don't see than fucking that up.
 
Pretty awesome. I better get some fucking epic superman combat and non of this lame ass I only save people shit.
 
I did not know about the leaked script, I wonder if I should just wait till the movie comes out, or read it.


All I gotta know is, In this script is the Zod vs. Superman fight really good, or is it more of a meh type of thing.

Thought the Comic con trailer had better music and better pacing (although the quality was inconsistent)

At least with the new one finally let me see what was going on since it used alot of the same footage
 
After seeing this trailer, it has became my most anticipated movie. I will say that might change after tomorrow when the trailer for Pacific Rim is shown.
