To complete all the missions, I'd say it's about accurate. If you want to max all the units though... (I'm over 50 hours and still pretty far from maxing everything)

Also, again to eveyone on the fence, buy this game. FB is probably a year away at the earliest.
 
So, saw some tier list for FB and Xi was low A tier. Dunno how that will translate with vanilla mechanics, though. Anyway, new DLC with Xi and GP-03 tomorrow with hopefully a new batch of Gundam gaffers online! :D
 
What is the full boost version coming with?

If its Extreme vs with all the DLC I'd rather just pay up full for that instead.
 
Wait so what suits are in the DLC again? I only bought toaster man and Blue Destiny so not a big loss if I rebuy this pack.

Also, what was that site we bought JPSN cards online? The really simply url like japanesepsncards or something? Will need more mun mun for this.

Looks like a nice surprise for peeps who already have the game or are getting the Best version ($50) on 12/13. Not bad of Namco Bandai supporting the console game since it was released last year. It's not up yet on the official site, but Gundam net ninjas scoured the site and are at it again! :)

So... Xi Gundam which was just added in Full Boost and GP-03 (which will eventually be in Full Boost). 500 Yen each and there looks like a special DLC pack with the other 6 DLC units for 2000 Yen.

Doesn't look like we'll be seeing Full Boost on PS3 any time soon, but here's to hoping we see more DLC for EXVS PS3 in the mean time. :D

I assume my copy should be here on Saturday , along with Sengoku Basara 3: Utage. I certainly picked a good time to get a PS3.
 
Thanks to you guys for bringing my attention to this game last year with the original thread.

I finally got my Play Asia order in for the BEST version a week ago. Who knows when it'll get it here since I cheaped out on shipping (and it's still a day from release).

No prob! :) As for the free shipping, it can usually take about a week from shipping to get to you with PA.
 
I've been stuck on Next + for a few years now and figure now that I got a ps3 last year that it was time to upgrade.

Only thing is, I would still prefer this on the go and I have a vita so hopefully Bamco can put this on the next one on the vita aswell.

I'll wait a few more weeks to see if they announce if and where Full Boost is heading to decide whether or not I will get Extreme VS.


Does the "best" version come in some hideous repackaging like the greatest hits?

EDIT: Looking at the release dates... it might be more wiser to just get the original extreme vs now. Can't expect Full Boost to be out until Decemberish 2013 if it even does arrive to consoles.

Yup. Judging from previous releases, FB console will probably be around that time frame. EXVS PS3 came out a year after Next+ Best was released, plus FB in the arcades still has a ton of content left to be released.

Also, EXVS Best has the ugly yellow cover like the rest of the PS3 Best releases! :S

It's custom. Though he kinda sucks in this one because of some shitty programming. In Full Boost, he's back to epic good.

I should be streaming the new units hopefully.

It takes a little to get used to the basics but it isn't too bad from there. There isn't a lot of crazy skills to master, just learning how to work it all at the same time.

Good, good. I just came from playing through a fighter and didn't really feel like learning another complex system.

What is the problem with the Xi exactly? I love the design and hopefully this gets it that much closer to a Master Grade kit.

Also, I still can't believe this wasn't localized when DWG3 was...

Well, there's that Robot Damashii figure of Xi coming out soon. But for the most part, it's not so much Xi that people have issues with... It's Hathaway, lol.

And Koei are the ones that pushed for DWG3 more than Namco to come to the states.

As far as hating Hathaway, ok I can get that. But if you're limiting suits based on pilots why would you have any suit from Seed or wing!? They're all Hathaways!


Let's get crazy, I want to see Ex-S or a Xeku Eins. Get some Sentinel up in this bitch.

Aside from AGE and Beginner G, they've pretty much covered all the mainline Gundams. I wouldn't be surprised to see Sentinel any time soon.

Wing and SEED have bad characters, but this just isn't in good taste.

Seriously though, Xi and Wing Gundam Zero both look really fun to play. That and I love bulky suits like ZZ so I couldn't be happier about Xi.

Worst performing Gundam of all time, even had some of the production crew admitting in Gundam Ace that even half way through they knew something was seriously wrong.

Also so,e how makes Shinn Asuka look like a decent lead even if you hate the guy. Between Flit/Ash/Kio you have the worst paced and written set of leads in any Gundam ever.
