Why? Is he ugly? Small cock? Out of shape?

All of the above if I'm being brutally honest, although some of those don't matter as much to me, lol, but he's a great person on the inside and I like hanging out with him. I'll try putting him in the friendzone.

How horrible. I wouldn't want someone like that even as a friend tbh.

Friend zoned? Is that near Alaska or Siberia?
J/K. Nice to see you maturing some.

"America's Paris"? I've never heard New York described as that. I always associated L.A. with love and glamour personally.
That's the only other city I can think of, but I feel like New York has had significantly more romantic portrayals in media. Los Angeles makes me think of noir stories.

I have no clue about what cities are more romantically portrayed, but having been to NYC, many, many times, I wouldn't even consider comparing it to the image that Paris gets.
I think Paris is in it's own league, but insofar as any American city has to be compared to Paris, I think New York's the likeliest choice.

My favorite "thing" from 'I Love New York'...
Rico/Sandro.

(On looks at least)

At least he went and made porn for some time; so there's nothing to the imagination. He's modeling/acting now. :p

you guys want to know what's the best way to screw your chances of hooking up with someone in a disco or bar? Go with a friend that is extremely muscled and wearing a thin t-shirt.

-_- ..... ;(

Aw, you seem like such an agreeable fellow. You deserve much better than him.

I've never been there, but I love New York. Maybe because of how Woody Allen (and movies in general) romanticized it. I see it as America's Paris.

Trying to find an American city that compares to Paris is difficult in some ways. Most of Paris was designed before the advent of the automobile, and buiding a living arrangement based around the automobile absolutely trashed urban design to the point where most of the human-built landscape over the past three generations or so is goddamn fugly.

So in all likelihood, we'd have to choose from older North American cities. Never been to NYC, but it's at the top of my vacation wish list.

(Sorry.. a pet topic of mine..)

Yes, I said I see it as USA's Paris, but maybe that's because I'm not from the US. Your perception might be different from mine. All I know is outside the US, New York is the most romanticized city. Specially from some kind of movies, and no, I don't mean those bullshit Sex and the City movies. You may not agree, but no other city from the USA is as recognizable in foreign countries. The city of the American Dream, with its Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge, Empire State Building, and former Twin Towers. The shots as Vito Corleone arrives to New York in The Godfather Part II are unforgettable as are Manhattan's shots in Allen's film.

I really would love to visit New York some day. It is indeed romanticized, or maybe that's the wrong word, it is certainly the most well known city. My american friend once told me that besides San Francisco and New York there isn't really a lot of good places to visit in the US.
