I say it's the same dumbass line of reasoning. You're not "defending the attacker", but the one being attacked should just be used to it by now and just ignore it. Death threats, smeth threats, who cares! Just wacky comic book fans, hyuck
if this is true, then fuck off Slott
The entire basis of my argument is that it IS just wacky comic book fans.
Everyone who's murdered anyone famous is "just wacky [MEDIA] fans".
Your line of reasoning is grotesque.
What? Dan Slott has been murdered?
I don't see why people are going nuts over this. Just like with the Death Of Superman storyline, Knightfall, Batman's magic bullet death, and the clone Spider-Man, the original Spider-Man will come back after a period of time. Maybe it will be in six months. Maybe it will be in a year. But it will happen.
Everyone who's murdered anyone famous is "just wacky [MEDIA] fans".

Because comic fans are unfit to be Pavlov's Dog.
They probably continue to eat at restaurants that give them food poisoning in the hope it will stop.
Either way it's a good show. Like a fatter, more Buttery Honey Booboo, with male pattern baldness. :3

I also would have much-preferredan evil Doc Ock in Spider-Man's body, wreaking havoc on the Marvel Universe. Having a (total) villain in the role would have been something really different.
Or you just pretending to be a dumbass? Because you're really good at it

I don't know why you're complaining about getting food poisoning, the restaurant has a good history and if you continue going there i'm sure you'll be happy and forget they poisoned you to begin with.
Spoiler warning, this is the opening scene:if this is true, then fuck off Slott

That's not even the worst part with MJ.The villain gets sent off to battle and murders the hero after getting a passionate kiss and an "I love you" from the hero's girl.
There's that, and there's also the fact that he hurls abuse at her, but she doesn't notice that anything is wrong and is more than willing to make out with Ock-Peter, which kinda sorta counts as super fucking creepy assault with rapey undertones.
That this comes from the same guy who found She-Hulk having sex with the Juggernaut to be absolutely unacceptable is somewhat odd.
A little food poison can be alright and help keep your life in perspective. You don't appreciate not being sick until you've spent a weekend spraying shit out your ass like a firehose.I don't know why you're complaining about getting food poisoning, the restaurant has a good history and if you continue going there i'm sure you'll be happy and forget they poisoned you to begin with.
because electro is cooler and we should be supporting colourblind casting for characters who's race/ethnicity isn't a major theme
In completely unrelated news, DC has apparently allowed its rights to The Spirit, Doc Savage, and The Avenger to lapse.

Hopefully they can be picked up by a publisher that cares about them.![]()
...and because Slott is a terrible writer, the scene ends not withGag.MJ suspecting mind control, or at least telling "Peter" to fuck off, but with MJ admitting her undying love for him and making out.

In the link:Hopefully Denis Kitchen jumps on The Spirit and we get reasonably priced collections. The Spirit Archives were nice, but fuck $50 a pop.

Electro cooler than Cardiac?
You're putting the retard agenda carriage before the common sense horse.
But isn't that what you wanted???? No more of thatbullcrap, we're getting back to what you keep saying you wanted! It's Spider-Man and Mary Jane! See? I AM DAN SLOTT! I AM A HACK!Carlie Cooper
Actual lines from "Peter" to MJ in the scene in question:
"I'm busy, woman. Go away."
"My head's filled with your trite pep talks."
"That's all you are now. The plucky best friend with the one motivational speech. What's the point? Why are you still hanging around?"

was so great.Carlie Cooper
Wait,DID THEY KILL CARLIE COOPER
I actually liked ASM 700. And am looking forward to SS now. Like, great writing outside of the MJ moment but figured that will be addressed down the road.
Just wondering did Ock actually kill Scorpion? Doc Ock was surprised by how strong Peter actually was.
I am not in a hurry to read it. I am gonna probably buy a copy and then tear it up from the sound of it.Spoiler warning, this is the opening scene:

EDIT: Never mind. If you want a complete description, send me a PM. Or look for you know what.

its out?
Slott's story from the issue has leaked yes. Reactions range from ElNarez's infinite rage and hate to "meh, it's not too bad". Still not worse than Sins Past though.
and Brand New Day/One More Day.
I liked more BND stories than I disliked. For the first time in YEARS, Spidey was fun to read; he had his supporting cast back, a killer's row of artists(Martin, Rivera, Bachalo, Jimenez, Romita Jr, Lark, Rios, etc), and the three times a month schedule mean you didn't have to wait long for a new Spidey story, even if you weren't feeling the current one.
As any book with rotating creative teams, it was very inconsistent, you never knew who was gonna pop up or what plot threads were gonna be built on or what the issue would even look like.
It has it's ups-and-downs, but several of the stories I think are some of the finest Spidey tales in 20 years. Largely a success in my mind.
