''Christopher Nolan's mesmerizing CLIMAX.''

I want this movie.

Didn't Ducard said something on the lines of "the world is too small for someone like Bruce Wayne to disappear" within the first 5 minutes of Batman Begins?

DKR was such a dissapointment for me.

How many Oscars will TDKR sweep this year, Liquid? I need to start putting down my picks.

It deserves at least 3. But the Oscars is still run by the "good ol boy network" so progressive directors like Nolan who take on daring projects will not be rewarded. There is a stigma that these types of movies carry, even though Nolan has broken those walls down so much with these three movies.

Ah okay, fair enough. How many noms do you think it will get, considering blockbusters have at least been a strong nomination presence lately?

I think it'll get nominated for Best Picture, Director, Cinematography, Sound Mixing (LOL), Supporting Actor (Hardy) and Actor.

It won't... win any, but it'll get nominated.

Ducard is a ninja with a vested interest in Bruce, of course he found him.

The incognito bit seemed to work for everyone else in the world during his 7 years abroad.

EXCLUSIVE:Christopher Nolan's production studio Syncopy debuted exclusive new footage from The Dark Knight Rises.
The footage was quickly pulled offline, leaving many fans yearning for more.
Now, the footage has been officially released online, thanks to Warner Bros.’

Bane is such a much better actor in that scene.

The 'Light it up' scene?

I actually loved that scene. Logic be damned!

Here's the real catch: Bats created that symbol years ago just for such an occasional. All he did was lead a trail of gas from the base of the bridge to Gordon.

I think Strafer meant "the death".

Can't believe he lost two Oscars for that bullshit of Hurt Locker. :lol

The guy needs to be recognized for directing.

Main thing I don't like about the Nolan trilogy is the city doesn't look like Gotham. They tried with Begins but TDK and Rises are obvious boring modern city's.

Wish we could see something like this again:

When he was declared dead?

I think the incognito thing is kinda difficult when you buy ferraris and hotels with your russian sluts or when you get your own manor on fire.

TDK and TDKR are already considered on a level above BB by the general movie going audience. Despite what some here would like to believe, BB is by far the least popular and revered of the three. The reason there were so many flashbacks to BB in TDKR is because many didn't watch or remember BB.

You're overlooking the obviously apparent fact that Batman flew the Bat to the bridge, and then used a modified nozzle, that he had developed in the post Batman Begins days to use on the Tumbler, to quickly spray a bat signal in gasoline, and then switched to a normal nozzle, and then used to auto-pilot to guide a line of gas to the ice.

Pfft. The whole thing took like ten seconds.

The fact it's more popular with general audiences doesn't mean it's not better man. I wasn't talking about popularity. General audiences didn't watch movies like Suspiria or Repulsion, yet they're still fondly remembered by many movie fans (just as many other great movies).

What I was saying is that in the future the first two will be remembered, while TDKR will be The Godfather III (I think that's a disservice to The Godfather III)

You said TDK and BB would be the ones that are remembered. Popularity of films certainly would play a larger role in that, no? And TDK and TDKR are far more popular. BB is already forgotten by most.

EDIT: I should amend that. I wouldn't say BB is forgotten by most. Just the least remembered of the three.

TDKR is only more popular because it came on the heels of TDK and.. oh yeah.. it only just came out this year.

Nobody will give a shit about TDKR in the future. TDK will be the only wide-spread memory.

TDK will certainly be the most remembered and revered. I don't think TDKR will completely fade away like Avatar or something like that.
