Also, Dokuro's only on sale, right, not a permanent drop? Hard to say then. I'd still vote Dokuro (it's what I bought).

Easy. Rayman, as it's on sale. Stranger's Wrath will still be $15 or maybe less by the time you get another $20 (and have finished Rayman).
 
Classes just ended for me, and I'm about to head home. One problem though - my PS3 refuses to fit in my luggage. Looks like I'll be spending some quality time with my Vita for the next month...
 
Okay does anyone know where the best place for someone from the EU to but US PSN Voucher's is? I used to use ebay and regularly get $50 for about £30 odd ( the right exchange rate). But I just looked and it was all around the £36-7 mark ($58-60). That's a bit much for me.

There are a lot of PSP games I want to get that are US only
 
Anyone tried Strangers Wraith? Hows it run on Vita? Look nice?

Might download it for later. Never checked it out and I want to finally experience the 'big' twist' I always hear about from my gamers friends.

Best place, I dunno, I'd say amazon?

If you just buy with EU credit card, and let it handle the exchange rate, you can get a $50 for 30.76GBP or 37.80EURO...

the gamefaq moves guide at least confirms stylish is on the ps3 version. It might not be present on the vita version though as I can't confirm that one... I think someone told me it was though.
 
FYI Carl, I don't hate the jigsaw puzzles. I don't *like* them, but at least they're actually puzzles (however simple) which puts them a step and a half above the other minigames.

BB is an awesome port (virtually the same as the console versions) but SFxTK offers cross-play with the PS3 version. I would recommend it for that alone.

Yes, it's fantastic. Just got it today- obvious visual downgrade from the console versions aside (but it still looks great), everything is intact and it plays great on the Vita. There are some framerate issues on select portions of certain tracks, but I haven't experienced anything that ruins the game.

Stranger's Wrath......... Why have I never played this game before??? Just finished the beginning tutorial, so much fun!!! I say fuck you good sir to anyone who whines about too many ports. Keep 'em comin Sony, and make sure they're always 15$ :)

I am more than ok with ports, so long as there is a healthy stream of exclusives as well. And we are getting Tearaway, Killzone Mercenary, and Soul Sacrifice that we know of so far, and it is possible we will see Ys Celceta localized. Consider me happy.

One port I am really hoping to see would be Puppeteer. I will get it for the PS3 if not, but man would it be great on the Vita.

Here are some tips:
Zapfly charged can knockout every normal enemy, so opt to use that instead of the spiders.
Against stronger enemies and bosses, mainly boss #2 onwards, Zapfly+Thudslug will help in knocking them out quickly.
Take it easy, no need to rush in gung-ho, take your time and take them out one by one.
Don't buy the bottles that increase the amount of Critter ammo you get, they're not worth it.
Remember the enemies are worth more alive then dead!

That's anaglyph 3d, isn't it? I should try to get ahold of some of those red/blue glasses to try it.
 
So GAF, any reason to get Hexyz Force? The fast forward/battle option is intriguing but I don't like the character and monster designs a lot.
 
Okay I just used PSN Store via the website for the first time. It's miles better than doing it via the PS3. SCEA need to hurry up and get it ready for the US since I wanna be able to do it on that account as well

Too many platformers at once!

I played a few levels of Rayman earlier and it's pretty fun. Looks really good but I'm not blown away by the art style like everyone else is. I ended up finishing 2 levels missing the final medal mark by 10 and 5 of those luma-whatevers which was annoying.

Think I'll play some stranger's wrath before I go to bed. I already have like 9 games going at once, what's 1 more?

BB has cross save, which works for the story mode stuff, if you're in to that.
SFxT's cross play has been absolutely useless in my experience. The PS3 players kick you as soon as they see you're on Vita.

Does that not feel...disjointed? If I play more than one thing at a time, I start to lose feeling for the previous game. It's almost as if I lose any immersion into the game I may have had if I only concentrated on that one game.

It's incredibly annoying but it's what I do every time I have more than 1 game to play at a time. If I just settled down and chose 1 I could probably finish it in 2 days depending on length but lately something new keeps coming. Like today I was playing VLR and then rayman goes on sale and I decide to get stranger's wrath. In another few days I'll have NFS Most Wanted too :\

I played it on PS3. Platinumed in one run (which really is an accomplishment!) Very fun... I was kind of surprised that it played like a stealth fps.

You lack willpower! What I do is if it's a retail copy, I lock it away until I finish my current game. I still have Sleeping Dogs, ACIII and Halo 4 to bring out at some point, but they won't distract me from ACIII:L!

It's harder if it's digital though since it'll be right there next to my other games. On Vita I put it on the bottom page :P

I picked up my preorder or SSASRT today. The IGN review is the biggest load of bullshit. The game looks better than MK7, by a mile. I have both games, and the Vitas Kart racer looks better. I expect better reviews frok their Playstation team, however, they all slag on the Vita - dishing backhanded insults/compliments, which don't apply. They've become like GAF members who say "Vita is nice, but....so I'm not touching it."

God, this climbing achievement in AC3:Liberation takes forever.

Got up to 5407meters naturally/getting other achievements. Leaving this one with 3000meters to do. Get 1.5meters per jumping up a highwall. Takes a while. :/
