Vita PSN Game & Service Thread 2

There are so many awesome Vita demos in the Japanese PSN Store. Downloaded Soul Sacrifice, Tales, Hatsune Miku, and DJ Max so far. :o
 
anybody playing that knytt game? the screenshots looked cool so i blindly bought it last night. i still haven't had a chance to play it yet though.

Ooh, I forgot about the Tales demo! Thanks for reminding me. I'll download it later.

DJ MAX and Project Diva are so great, wish I had the money to buy them! :P
 
It feels like an early Christmas for me. I'm going crazy with all of these Japanese demos, and my 8GB card isn't even completely filled up yet.

I've been thinking of importing Project Diva f ever since it was released in Japan. This demo will probably seal the deal for me.

No, I haven't played or purchased either games. FIM looks like it'll be released in North America by Namco Bandai. WRC is still in the air, but IIRC Namco Bandai once published WRC games in North America too ...

When you hit a Youtube link in the browser it now opens the Youtube app. Before it was limited to only m.youtube.com links.
 
Dead or Alive 5 Plus has rocketed into must-buy territory with the new information from Famitsu.

Cross-play/cross-goods/cross-save with the PS3 version confirmed! And the screenshots confirm new costumes and seem to confirm a new stage (beach?).

I really want to support this. Of all the cross features between PS3/Vita, it's cross save that isn't done often enough for my liking. I don't want to unlock several hours worth of stuff, and then do it all over again. I'm just not gonna bother. It's why I'm not remotely interested in Strangers Wrath Vita

Shame I don't like fighters on hendhelds :(

Hey vitabros, I'm literally just about to buy myself the Assassin's Creed bundle to replace my Vita with the cracked screen. Is there any Assassin's Creed logo on the actual Vita or it just a normal white Vita? Oh and just to make sure, I'll be able to just log onto my PSN and toss in my existing 32gb and have my games work normally (and not have to redownload 32gb of games)?

I think I'll keep my old busted up Vita to check out the Japanese PSN store (for demos and stuff), so is there any tutorial on how to do that?

I read that the online severs for that dev's games were disabled due to lack of payment.
Most of games whose online servers were "Powered by GameSpy" are down or something...

But gravity crash is on PSP and looks great on vita, and pixel junk shooter is one of the few remote play compatible games so you can play that on vita too.

I read it now has YouTube compatibility in the browser. If YouTube's software and the PSV's firmware is up to date and you press Play on the mobile YouTube site, it will launch the YouTube app and you can watch the video that way.

To beat a friend, you must first have them send you a challenge. To do that, they must play a level and then click on the flag symbol from the Results Screen:

Doing this will send a challenge to you. Simply accept their challenge, then beat the time.

The best level to do this is Level 1 of World 1, as it will only take a few seconds to complete.
Make sure that when you do it, your friend sets a time that is easily beatable - anything over 10 seconds for the first level is good.

You don't need mobile youtube links anymore, any youtube links will open the app now.
