Vita PSN Game & Service Thread 2

So I just updated my Vita and I have two questions:

1. LBP came on a physical cart and has Network Pass. Can I input the pass even though the game is PAL and my main account is US one? If not, would I be able to Platinum it without it?

2. How to transfer Trophies stored on the server to Vita? I tired Sync with Server but it doesn't do that.

Bought the Ass Creed bundle and walked home. How do I set this thing up with my existing memory card? Do I just pop it in and it'll work? Also, how do you access the Japanese store? I'll be using my broken Vita as my Japanese PSN device.

No one answered any of these questions the last time I asked so... yeah.

Deactivate your account on the borked Vita, and activate it on the new one. Pop in the memory card and see what happens. I think it should work without you needing to download all the content.

With your other Vita deactivated, create a Japanese PSN I.D. on a separate memory card from the above.

I think you're hosed on #1. US/EU accounts have different DLC, I think? I don't think you can redeem an EU code on a US account. And yes, you need the Online Pass to get the platinum -- it's LBP!

As far as #2, you won't see PS3 trophies unless you press the playstation network tab and it syncs. It defaults to the "vita" tab, only showing you vita games and the trophies you've earned.

Who cares? Its a western. Is Red Dead Redemption ever not brown? A game can still look great despite a limited color palette. That's just the style the game has.

It was just an innocent question, lol :(

I still prefer colours though. I know this was a "brown game" before brown games were hip, but as a first time player it doesn't do much to entice me.

It's gonna get some colors, trust me :P

for those that recommended surge, thank you so much finally got around to getting it, and dang it is fun :)

With strategic depth, even is naysayers claim otherwise.

Connection dropped me, I can't rejoin. :( Hopefully Corrosive is closer to you guys to where you can finish those co-op levels. That chase one is impossible in that lag. :(

Okay, besides that one chase level we have two left to do. D:

Just got 100% on Mutant Blobs Attack. It was surprisingly fun and charming.

However even if I enjoyed it, I don't think I could ever buy games like that. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with it, but it's just not for me. I need something with a lot more substance

I know, sorry for sounding hostile about it. It's only because you had brought the brown thing up multiple times. The game does have a good color palette to me and is one of the sharpest games on the platform and a fantastic game experience. So I guess I get a bit sensitive when someone's only comments about what I feel is such a good game is how it looks brown.

Half of the Santa gifts arrived in my inbox. God damn guys. Those are some yummy gifts. That complete gift list is something to drool over in terms of game quality, lol.

I just got a $ 50 PSN card, looking to grab some something on Vita. Last thing I got was Little King's Story and Ragnarok.

I've already played Persona 4, so what's new and good to buy?

agreed. i didn't buy a vita for these types of games. could get the same experience on a phone or tablet. give me something meaty for my vita.

I don't know anything about Dokuru. I have Rayman Legends already.

Strangers Wrath, huh? I played through most of that game on Xbox awhile ago, maybe it'd be fun to revisit it. Does it still hold up?

It's had the HD treatment and makes use of the Vita controls plus trophies.

During my shopping I couldn't help but ask myself, "Why don't I own these games!?"

Asking that myself about every single item in my inbox so far, lol.

Haha, didn't mean to further beat that horse, but the last time I said something similar I don't think anyone responded so I was hoping someone would defend the game's colour palette.

I don't know much about the gameplay, so all I really have to go by at the moment are the screenshots, and unfortunately I'm not seeing a whole lot of flair. I can respect the fact they were aiming for a particular thing, but (from what I've seen so far) it's not my favourite.

I've gotten a bit sensitive myself in recent years to the homogenization of visual styles in games, so I'm undoubtedly being more severe that I might have been when Stranger's Wrath was first released.

But anyway, Maxwood is insisting there's more to the game's look than it appears, so that's good news indeed!

Let me win a versus level and I'll get out of your hair, that chase one I can do later on.

You need to win 25 times for a trophy. I'll gladly do it with you, alternating wins.

There's another trophy for winning any level with 4 people:

Ah, I got one win but you left before I could get the 4 player. :( That's the one I wanted to get. But I'm going to leave for the night. I gotta do that some other time.
