I really hope theres more than 1 game in between Dec 31st and Jan 31st however you want to slice it. I'm sure there will be.

Also is Chronovolt really that bad? Sure seems like it :(

I think the update on the 31st is part of their Jan updates. Bioshock 2, Decembers game of the month, is getting pulled on the 31st and presumably being replaced with the January game of the month.

Well, on one of the Plus update posts this month, Morgan Haro said "Also, for those wondering, we do have PS Vita games on the way in December that will add to the already great library of content on PS Vita Plus. Watch for those to be announced in this space later this month." Retro City Rampage has been the only one free this month, and he said gameS this month, so I would think that means Chronovolt would be a part of this month's updates.

This gen? there are tons of games that I really like on all systems..few examples

PC The Witcher 1/2,Amnesia,Alice Madness Returns(my Goty 2011) Dishonored (my Goty 2012) Stalker series, Alpha Protocol,New Vegas,Risen,Saints Row 2/3 ,Portal,Burnout Paradise..and many others
PS3 Folklore(game of the generation) GT5,Uncharted2,inFamous1/2,Ridge Racer 7,Siren,Yakuza 3 and Kenzan Valkyria Chronicles and many others
360 Condemned: Criminal Origins,Crackdown(2 is not good),Lost Odyssey,Geometry Wars 2, the first Gear of War was good too.
Wii ...well wiimote made me hate myself but Metroid Prime count even when it was a port(2 and 3 are not as good).
and there are huge amount of other games I like and I can't just keep writing them here.

Thumbs up on a few of those. (Witcher, Vegas, Yakuza and Ridge Racer!)
 
I can already sense a potential Hot Shots addiction coming on. I played a decent amount of it on PS3 before it YLOD, and this Vita version is like having a portable version of that with new content. It can look a little rough at some points but it plays very well.

Also how bad is cronovolt? Is it at least worth they download?

It's a perfect game for the Vita, I play it while watching TV all the time.

The NA blog doesn't use the term in their blog post like the EU blog does, but we do get them.
  • June - VF5
  • July - Gotham City Imposters
  • August - Walking Dead Ep 1 & 2
  • September - Borderlands
  • October - NFL Blitz
  • November - RE5
  • December - Bioshock 2
All of those games we're posted on the first update for the month and subsequently replaced with the new game of the month the following month.
 
I had Hot Shots once... hated it. But then I don't like golf at all. Kinda want to pick up Virtual Tennis though.

More Important:
8 year old nephew getting a Vita in the morning. What's the best protective case for when he drops it?

GBA was NO WHERE near $250 US DOLLARS. Unless my memory and inflation has screwed with my understanding of it's price, it was $100-150 on launch. Which still isn't good to sneeze at for a 7 year old, but more reasonable price to blow on a high-tech toy for a kid if they drop it, since that's like a few hours work.

You're right they were around that mark. I meant that it's less of a cost thing and more of a what's available thing. The Vita and 3DS are more expensive than their last decade counterparts. That's just the way it is, kids now what the same things that kids 10 years ago wanted. Unfortunately for parents those things cost a little more now.
 
Hey vitabros, Merry Christmas!

I'll be treating myself to DJMax Technika Tune and something else over the break, my 10$ brand new copy of Little Deviants just came in too.

I wanted to bring attention to the thread about that Warrior's Lair gameplay though. I can't find any info or confirmation the game is even still in development. It simply looks like a leak. Can anyone do some serious digging?

No, but you can look as badass as Ryu in a latex Santa outfit.
Practice makes perfect. Draw things every day in a sketchbook (especially people and hands). And don't use mice to draw things digitally, it's a pain in the ass as I've recently discovered.

She put in the request. We'll see what happens. I know it's only $4.55, but that's not the point. The point is I feel ripped off and fucked over. I shouldn't feel that way.

I bought MK Vita. I died for your sins. It will go free tomorrow for all of you.

It's actually pretty impressive to have a UE3 game at 60 FPS on Vita. Granted it is not super pretty...the backgrounds are ok and the character models look last gen, but it is the res that kills them. Still, super fluid and fun.

I also bought unit 13. Can't pass up $13!

It won't be free, I think.
If anything, it might get the sale pricing, since the MK PS VITA is showing in the IGC for Vita but has no discount of any sort.

And yeah, it's great. I cleared space on my card for it and already sold my physical copy, so I don't have the game until they figure out what the fuck is going on with it. I won't pay $30 for the digital copy for sure. :|

I got my 8 year old cousin a Vita for his birthday a while back with a Nerf case and screen protector. His Vita still doesn't have a scratch on it so I'd recommend it.
