Green Man Gaming Thread: Save some green, man

Somebody know when Borderlands 2 is supposed to go on sale at GMG? Blog mentioned it would be during this sale but not yet it seems...
 
When did Sine Mora get that discount? Ran out of codes...
 
Apparently my giftcard I got for xmas has the "online gambling" thing on GMG, at least that is what it told me when it denied my order. Any chance of this getting fixed soon or is it something that won't be happening for a while?

A shame since $5 for Alan Wake seemed like a sweet deal for me.

Same thing just happened to me, was trying to buy Tiny & Big with paypal from Australia and no luck. Thing is it's not the first thing I've bought from them on that account using paypal. Oh well...

Guys, I need some confirmation :

Since Football Manager is a Steamworks games, does GMG only gives you a Steam key?

I found someone who can buy the game for me, but we need to know if he can actually gift it to me.

I picked up the Deluxe Edition on Origin for $20 a few days ago. Came out to $30 after buying Leviathan, but I'm glad I bought it. The game is a lot of fun, and I'm digging the story stuff this time around.
 
Is there anyone who would accept to help me buy Football Manager? The deal is almost over and I wasn't able to buy it myself or find anyone who could effectively help me with it.

I would pay you back through PayPal.

Use a proxy? Thats what i did. There is a trick to doing though and you can't apply the coupon through the proxy as it wont work. You need to log in with a proxy on your account, find ME3 then add to cart then it should be still in your cart while browsing the site normally. It may take acouple tries.

Find a UK Proxy from here.

finchroute.co.uk worked well for me and kept all the cookies and site stuff up regularly instead of blocking it like other proxys.

Okay, I'm almost there but I'm having trouble actually making the payment. It keeps saying order not complete and something about payment details. I guess I should be using PayPal, but the problem is my e-mail that I use for PayPal is linked to my actual GMG account, and they have to match for PayPal to work.

Edit: Sorted the PayPal issue out, and then I got the gambling error message, so I'm kind of out of ideas. If any UK GAFfers could help out that'd be very appreciated, I'd be able to pay promptly.
 
I've asked a few times, but never gotten an answer. How are the pre-order for credit deals on GMG? Bioshock is 15 bucks off on pre-order (in credit). Is that likely to be the best price or would it be smarter to wait for a 30% voucher closer to release?

They seem to be moving away from the vouchers and toward credit back on the bigger releases, which is a shame as the pre-order credit usually isn't as much as the discount vouchers were for and it locks you into spending the credit on more games.

So it's likely those are the best deals I can expect, like say for DMC, Tomb Raider and Bioshock? I can always use the credit on something else in the future.

It's hard to know for sure. They may do some crazy pre-release discount scheme before the games come out, who knows.

I will say though that I preordered Hitman Absolution off them ages before it came out and got a decent discount, then right before release they did some crazy deal. I contacted them and they gave me a credit for the difference (which was about $11). So, if they improve the deal you can probably get a piece of the action if you ask nicely.
 
Last call until it's too late: I'm looking for someone who would accept to buy a Football Manager 2013 code for me, and I'll refund him/her with PayPal. Game is 14$, but I'm one of the unlucky guys who's card company will reject payments made to GMG :(
I actually got an answer earlier from Relax.MX, but it didn't went through for him either.

The sale ends in about 1h15min.
 
Guys, just went to buy Titan Quest: Immortal Throne and it's sold out. :( What are the chances of it becoming available again before the 30% coupon expires?
 
Borderlands 2 is up. 30% code works to bring it to $21. Good price although haven't 4 packs brought it down to close to that price for awhile?

The season pass is $10.50 though. I really disliked this game and am still thinking about getting it at that price.
 
Is it possible to use a proxy to buy from the US store? BL2 Season Pass now inexplicably has Australia in the title and costs $10 more.
 
Anyone else having issues today with GMG not accepting payments? Its been working fine for me for the last few months but today it just keeps declining payment

Happened to me earlier as well.

Bought Sine Mora, Tiny & Big and Alan Wake in pretty quick succession over the past day or two with no problems, but when I tried to get Alan Wake's American Nightmare right after I bought the first game it wouldn't accept it after multiple tries over PayPal and credit card, so I missed out on the deal. :(

Guess I'll have to shell out an extra dollar on Steam in the next hour if I really want it.
 
Wait, I could get Borderlands 2 for $15 (got $6 credit from Sleeping Dogs + december voucher)? Damn, so tempting. I really shouldn't buy it though. Gah.
 
Can you use the code GMG30-DPLIM-DN831 only once on one game or use it on several orders?
When I put in borderlands 2, bl2 season pass, mass effect 3 and giana sisters, the code only applies to borderlands 2z

You can use it only once per game, so you'll have to make multiple, single orders to use it on everything.
I had to make 2 different orders to have it applied to both the BL2 Mechromancer Pack and The Book of Unwritten Tales.

Several orders, but with 1 item at a time for each purchase. It won't apply if you try it on a 2nd item in the cart.
