I noticed it too. Very distracting. So watching the 4th Day Recap TWD part, is it just me or is there a lot of annoying overlapping of different people talking with Ryan's voice the loudest and everyone else's kind of soft but still can be heard in the background? For a moment I thought I had accidentally opened multiple tabs/windows of the video but nope.
I think Spec Ops should had been in the top 3 stories over Dust.
Every time you say things like this is makes me feel really guilty about not owning VLR. : (Good man Tricky. #1 would've been different if you had more time.
Because he described it using words like "transcendental."Why does Patrick get hate for liking Journey, especially considering it was also on everyone else's (except Jeff's) top ten.
Ryan loves his double negatives.
"you're not wrong," for example
it's part of his charmingly garrulous nature.
Bullshit. I 100% agree with Patrick. If you pick a name like xXxthug420xXx you're either a 12-year old, a fucking douchebag or you're the ironic hipster yourself. Neither someone I want anything to do with in my free time playing games. And god Patrick....Journey, Journey, Journey... /hipster bs. Journey got him to play games with dirtbags? Nice assumption. Deciding on the quality and standing of people through their names on PSN. I worry more about people who use their real names as their online nickname!

Everyone loves to troll Alex.Is there a story behind Ryan skipping Alex Navarro during the 2nd part of the video?
Yeah seriously, I think more people should talk over each other in the next video...
The audio is broken. Earlier audio plays over itself at some point.
At least its an even number. There are languages and dialects that can flip the switch an uneven number of times. A triple negation remains a negation in those cases, it's just a very emphatic one.During the last section, Ryan uttered the sentence, "No one(1) is going to disagree(2) that it's not(3) without(4) it's problems."
The vaunted quadruple-negative.
I think Spec Ops should had been in the top 3 stories over Dust.
haven't listened to them since i'm still playing TWD, but the fact that Dust is even mentioned is a travesty. shit's like mediocre sonic fan fiction.
That's it, I'm playing the copy of Asura's Wrath I have.

If they didn't want to be judged as dirtbags/assholes/children, maybe they should've chosen better fucking names.
Judging people by their name is a childish, douchebag thing to do.
Jeff had the same problem I had with Spec Ops. Wish you could have chosen not to do it.
Someone who picks a name like NiggaHatah420 is surely somebody you'd usually choose to play with.
I thought exactly the same at the end. The type of names I saw are usually the people who ruin my games on CoD etc with mic spam and the like.
Every time you say things like this is makes me feel really guilty about not owning VLR. : (
yes YES, you are guilty!
Not strictly necessary, but you SHOULD.Is it necessary to play 999 before playing VLR?
Yeah, it just took a lot of air out of the narrative for me.I wonder how many people figured it out before pulling the trigger. I realized it right after I did it, which is probably the perfect way for it to happen. I have no idea how I would feel about that game if that part didn't work.

Jeff has made it very clear in the past that he wishes theWhich part of Spec Ops are we talking about? I haven't listened to the podcast yet.
Jeff has made it very clear in the past that he wishes the.white phosphorous scene in Spec Ops was a choice. He wanted the game to allow you to have the option to jump down and fight the Army entrenchment with small arms fire instead of the WP mortar
Today's video was great. I wonder how Jeff was feeling knowing some of what they were saying was true.

Jeff actually addressed this point directly with the lead writer of the game on a GameSpot spoilercast of the game back in July. They should have let you engage and get so pinned down that you felt like you had no other choice.

He said that at one point they did have the option to repel down to the fight the soldiers head on, but it had to be removed due to technical limitations.
Let me borrow your Vita/3DS real quick, and I'll remedy that. ; )yes YES, you are guilty!
Ah, I see.Not hard to believe beings on the PC version if you are far away from soldiers and trying to snipe, their models are very low res. Like Ps1 low res.
Someone on /v/ just pointed this out: Alex's grin and Brad's laugh when Ryan doesn't mention Alex's name.
