Absolutely pathetic part deux
A year and a half since the start of the last Movies You've Seen Recently and now five years since the original, comes a new bad ass thread that was rushed to the markets to meet the demands of the people:

Also if you want your letterboxd account here, you should add it and I will try and edit this like once every couple of days or so.

Don't know what Letterboxd is? It is the easiest way to keep track of what films you watched and tons of cool kids are on it. It is in beta but people have tons of invites around.

If anyone knows what the stats of the last thread were, let me know for I don't and don't really give a damn.

Letterboxd sounds like the kind of thing people will spend countless hours editing/updating, but they'll never look at someone else's Letterboxd account.

Your image is broken.

Works here.

The most popular Letterboxd users usually have the silliest reviews, though, so someone's probably looking at 'em. It's a neat alternative to ICM and Criticker.

This OP could use some work, but someone had to make it.

I don't post around much, but I do like watching movies so I figure I would be posting here often. Letterboxd looks interesting, anyone mind sending an invite my way?

Letterboxd invites require email addresses, unfortunately. I'd be happy to give you one, but I don't know if you wanna reveal any contact info to an Internet stranger.

That might just be my anxieties, though. Also: add me AU, I know you just started following me!

Love these threads, great for movie suggestions.

Saw The Hobbit yesterday. It was okay. Kinda hope someone adapts the book someday.

Just for posterity: here's my Letterboxd account page. I've followed all of you guys already, so please try and reciprocate.

Can't believe I only have 933 post. I'm going for 1000 this time. So I probably have to actually talk about what I watch.

Movies You've Seen Recently III: Chris Knudsen's Become An Evangelist! Run For ICM!

On another note: I'm watching Rosemary's Baby on New Year's Eve. Something tells me this is going to haunt me forever.

What the hell I still made the top ten? Man I'm going to actually make an effort to write more reviews and read more as well. I miss you guys : )

I don't really care for post count the way I used to. It's cool to get on the Wall of Shame, though—I'll probably post more often once I'm able to participate in endless discussions over Shame and James Cameron Films™.

Haha. Letterboxd has made me watch more movies and it sort of feels like Pokemon or crack or something of that sort.

Completed my Top 10 list for the year. Django ended up knocking off Pitch Perfect, but I'm still happy with it overall.

10. The Cabin in The Woods
9. Django Unchained
8. Dredd 3D
7. Silver Linings Playbook
6. Les Miserables
5. Cloud Atlas
4. The Dark Knight Rises
3. Chronicle
2. Looper
1. The Avengers

CFK, I just realized something: your initials spell KFC the other way 'round. Can I call you Colonel now?

Letterboxd doesn't allow importing from Google yet, but they will when they release their public API. It seems like they only allow IMDb and Delicious Library right now, lol.

It would take me forever to rate everything I have seen. I'm just going to use Letterbox for everything I see from 2013 on.

I'll just update what I can before the year starts. From then on I'll just enter what I see (to see how much I see in the year).

Sure ;)

So whats your guys movie collection look like
Considering what I personally own, that looks like Heaven. My father has a bunch of good stuff, and I'm free to borrow, but I've really only bought some box-sets and a bunch of Criterion-label releases.

I think it's better if we call him Popcorn Chicken from now on.
I might as well refer to him as Roman Coppola. I'm sticking with Colonel!
