this is pretty true. I am not a beer man AT ALL, but I do love a really really dark heavy beer now and then. Optimally, it should be thick like syrup or motor oil. This mindset probably stems from my first ever drink of alcohol being a Guinness.

So youtube for some reason has introduced me to this drag queen event in the Canary Islands in Spain, and is absolutely weird, if not mind blowing. It consists on complex choreographies of Drag Queens in the highest platforms I've seen, with the most outrageous and complicated costumes that are slowly removed until they are left basically naked. This might be considered NSFW, no real nudity but almost there.

The weirdest part? I thought this was some big gay event, but no, if you notice in the crowd there are old ladies and even children, is just completely bizarre, and I kind of want to go to one now.

I can be rather forward too, I think it's more that people in general can be a little scary. But speaking equally for myself I wouldn't worry about it too much, people don't have to be comfortable all the time, social interaction or at least meeting new people is generally an uncomfortable experience. It's good to try to accommodate people as it shows thoughtfulness, but as long as a person isn't obnoxious I don't think one has to really worry about making people momentarily uncomfortable, you're not necessarily responsible for their reactions and oftentimes it can be just as easily interpreted as a form of surprise on their part. I scare people all the time and I'm also really emotionally perceptive so the idea of that makes me uncomfortable and then I doubt myself or start feeling apologetic, but I think this is self-defeating. From their perspective a person that has the contradictory traits of emotional sensitivity/self-doubt and brashness or boldness would be pretty jarring, but that's not necessarily bad.

Hmm yeah. I mean Im pretty shy when I first meet someone then open up. Im PRETTY quick to accommodate for others before myself. I suppose I wont worry about it.

I'm actually the same way. I edited my post a little bit but I think this trait contributes to it. A person that is both shy/sensitive and bold is a bit of a walking contradiction, which people generally don't expect, shifting from one to the other is bound to be seen by other people as a bit jarring.

Thanks for all the replies, guys! You are honestly the best. I think that part of the reason why I think I'm getting more comfortable with being gay is because of the Internet, really. No, I don't mean porn, I mean all the information and advice you can find on the web is just extremely helpful, this thread is an excellent example. In all honesty... I think my parents will be okay with it, they're not very homophobic, and religion is pretty much a non-issue, but my Mom says that people who are Homosexual, Lesbian, etc. Have a very hard life (Because of acceptance and all) And I feel that if I tell her she might be a little depressed and I don't want that for her right now, I don't even know how my Dad would react... probably a "You shouldn't be thinking about this stuff" I guess.

Smoke does wonders for exacerbating my usually-dormant asthma.

There are two major gay clubs on Bourbon Street (The Bourbon Pub and Oz) that have outdoor balconies, useful for fresh air. Every single time I went to them over the past decade, I ended-up spending more than 90% of my time there hanging-out on the balcony and enjoying the view down below. Lots of, umm.., "naughtiness" happens in the crowds on the street on Mardi Gras Day, Pride weekend, or Southern Decadence weekend, so there can be quite an entertaining show of humanity to watch down there. The things I've seen
(and - in my younger days - done)

But we've long given-up the club scene. Mixed-crowds neighborhood bars (within walking distance) that serve food are the bee's knees.

I've played against plenty of people from US and even France and Germany, most of the time lag is okay. And I personally play without items (since I enjoy attending tourney and stuff) but I don't mind playing just for the lulz :P

Cool. I also enjoy playing for laughs, so expect some rule changes at certain points, just to spice things up. I can do no items for a good while, though. I may even have a third person (or fourth) joining us, if that's fine.

Speaking of games, everyone with a Steam account should try the Magical Drop V demo <3
