First time watching a live stream on Seaserpent. Is it a common issue that I'm getting the "Loading ad. Remove this screen." and it puts a big gray box over the video? I can see through it but it won't go away. And at the bottom it says the advertisement helps Giantbomb. Oh, and if I resize the video or full screen it keeps the gray box over the video but only in the original size and the rest of the video is fully visible. Hmm.

I had that too, it went away on refresh. Also, it's a twitch.tv ad, which don't show up if you use adblock pro.

This TNT reminded me of the TNT where Vinny and Dave played Tribes and Crusader Kings 2 and that space sim (with Vinny's shiny new flight stick). Random play whatever TNTs are the best. Much better than the typical flavor of the week MP game with the community.

Agreed. This was easily the best TNT they've had in a long time. It's a much nicer flavour than sticking to whatever's recent and it can shine some exposure on some games people never played before. I REALLY would have liked to see them play (or try to play) Bomberman Act Zero.

There's a NeverDead quicklook at the beta site. An hour long!

Brad and Vinny's celebration over no deaths... hahahahahahaha!

I wish this had been a livestream, because I would have been giving Brad some hot tips on the game. ALWAYS use sword. That was your first big mistake, Brad. Also, the way to reattach to your body is get your head over to your neck on the torso. Major props to Brad's ability to recover from being sucked up into the little head eaty guys. I was awful at that part, haha.

Also, you get some pretty awesome techniques later on like tearing your arm off, throwing it, and detonating it like a grenade. It's great! (also, I think playing on easy makes it harder to lose your limbs)

I pretty much figured they wouldn't like it, but I'm really glad they gave it a chance.

I didn't think he would, but Jeff looks better with the little bit of facial hair he's been able to grow. Gives his face some features, and the darkness of his hair contrasts nicely with his teeth.

I reserve the right to withdraw this comment if it doesn't look good in a room well-lit.

They're going to wipe the beta site in a couple of weeks anyway and use a newer version of the user database, so that might be why he's not prioritizing adding people to the site now.

I have to say that Alex's EB entry was the first time that I really liked his stuff. I think it helped that he had dropped the ironic detachment to a large degree.

He really needs to do more of them.

I kind of felt Brad was a bit overly down on it. It actually seems pretty fun in a dumb B-movie sort of way. I could see it gettnng old eventually (like the repeating dialogue) but that first hour seemed entertaining enough.

For me the repeating dialogue wrapped back around into being hilarious because in my head he was this guy who in his 500+ years on Earth only ever had a handful of jokes. And every day his partner has to listen to him crackin wise to the same ten jokes repeated liberally throughout the day. Its like one of those overly long family guy gags except this time it worked for me.

The combat and especially the bosses do eventually get old though. I probably have a higher threshold for them than other people would
