Having lived in places where a Five Guys is within an easy drive away. I have to say, I've grown tired of them. Very high priced for what you get. Last time I was there, I paid $12 for a burger, cajun fries and a drink. Its not THAT good of a burger.

I was a bit taken aback by the price, but I thought it was a good middle ground for something better than normal fast food and a pricier burger. Won't be going every week, but might make a couple trips now and again. :P

I still say Fuddruckers is the best chain burger place. Super rich meat in any poundage you want, soft buns that were made fresh just hours before, soooo good! I prefer getting my burgers at local bars and pubs, though.

I haven't been in a really long time but I used to really like the Ostrich burgers.
 
The only two foods I ever crave when I'm dieting are Pizza and Burgers. Never any sweets or anything. Just those fatty, carby foods. /drool

While they may not compare to burgers and pizza I'll admit, I really love sweets. Cute little pastries just make me so happy. I swear, my diet is basically just meat and cake.

Me too! I've get getting those naked juices, because errr "vit-a-mens"? I'm a little afraid of scurvy. :S

That's why I put fruit in my cocktails and pastries! Seriously, I might be screwed without my daily multivitamin. Really, it's not that I hate veggies, I just tend to think, "Hmmm, I have 2000 calories to enjoy today. Would I rather spend that on vegetables or pie?.................Pie it is!"

Pie is delicious. I should take a multivitamin. *ponder*

I can eat 1200 calories of vegetables a day and still gain weight. It's depressing. So paleo/low carb it is and see if it does anything.

I feel your pain. I'm currently trying to shed pounds and have been eating nothing but things that do not make me happy for 2 weeks =(

Poor both of you, luckily I am still at a age where I can eat everything and not exercise while eating copious amounts of nice food. Although I am still a fairly healthy eater, which also seems somewhat uncommon with students.

Well, my mom's always like "you're too skinny, eat more!!!"

I never get that luckily, friends usually just watch in awe while I gobble food. Might actually still be underweight, not sure.

I used to be that way until I hit 26 then SURPRISE! LOVE HANDLES! It's been a long road since. I've finally hit a weight that I'm not comfortable with, so its time to do something about it.

My sister seems to have the same problem as you. Lord knows she eats healthier than me, and her appetite isn't nearly as huge, and she even works out quite regularly, but she has such a hard time losing weight.

On the subject of losing weight, I am one of those lucky people that doesn't gain much weight. I do feel sorry for people who find it very difficult to lose weight.

Age has nothing to do with it if you're genetic makeup isn't like that in the first place.

Fucking metabolism.

I need to change my lifestyle properly and not make it a chore cause then it just doesn't work :(

Eating works the opposite way too, its hard for a skinny guy to put on weight if he doesn't enjoy the food. I only like one bulk meal and even im getting tired of it now.

I know exactly how you feel! Hopefully I'll get back on track this year. I started doing some light exercise last year for a while but for some reason I just lost motivation and stopped. My diet could still use a bit of work, but I'm proud that I'm not constantly eating trash anymore like I was a few years ago.

I'm a light eater and love exercise, so I maintain an average weight. I'll never be thin or muscular, but I don't want to be either. I like how I am now. :o

I want to be muscular as hell! I was going to the gym all the time a couple years ago, and was managing 300 lbs on the leg press. I even got stretch marks from how quickly I was gaining muscle. Then, I overworked my right knee and I haven't been to the gym in about a year and a half. It's finally healed but I just haven't found the time, yet.

But I swear, one day I will have my Chun-li thunder thighs!

That's pretty much my attitude, I just want to be healthy and look good without having to be at 3% body fat. All these mental hurdles though :(
