There is no news here, so no new thread needed, simple as that.
At best the idea of creating one is like a LTTP thread, which I think aren't necessarily useful either. "HAI GAIZ, I JUST PLAYED THIS AMAZING GAME THAT CAME OUT 3 GENERATIONS AGO, IT'S AS AWESOME AS EVERYONE SAID!"
Queue up the haters and defenders and watch it become an argument of whether the game was actually good.
There's a reason I stick to *this* thread amongst a select few.
No need to perpetuate the basest level of GAF behaviour by creating a "HAY DUDEZ, VITA TURNED 1! ISN'T THAT TEH AWEZSOME??!" thread to create a Vita is doomed/bombed/etc. argument that isn't productive or constructive.

Let's not pretend like the mods are wanting anything more than more threads that'll generate clicks and traffic. Their plan to have more threads per subject isn't some noble way to make Gaf better.

The thread's been teetering on the brink of insanity for a good while now, but I think we've just gone over the edge.
I got a Christmas email (with Christmas E-Card!) from DrinkBox Studios... According to that, they finished the second Beta version shortly before Christmas.
So, still on track for early this year, i guess! Hopefully not too long to wait

I'm serious. I've been working in analytics for longer than I care to say and there are two guarantees in generating traffic: 1. Create content that'll get people arguing in your comment section so they'll keep coming back and 2. Have multiple article/topics for the same news so that you increase the clickthrus for each topic exponentially.

Yes, but that only is true for a climate where people actually try to maximize revenue, which isnt the case here. If it was ONLY about maximizing income, EvilLore would have sold this place for the 10Mil he got offered long ago.

Mutant Blobs is one of the best games on Vita!I've actually looked into maybe getting the PS3 one. Is it any different?

It's a completely different game, yeah. The "Story" is pretty much the same, but there are some quite different mechanics in there. Obviously some things aren't quite as refined as in the Vita game, though (you have to hold a button to absorb).
But yeah well worth a buy IMO. It has couch co-op too which is a bonus

I agree that we do a thread for the Vita's first birthday, but say we do a year recap tread for the Vita? Why not, right? We can talk about all the great games, features and such to have come since it's launch. I say we also focus on what needs to be improved on or added, as well.
Trying to round up the DLC trophies in Motorstorm, but man is the in game music getting annoying to me. Has anyone else noticed this? It's like really, really trashy dubstep most of the time. Plus there's only like 6 tracks I think, so they loop really easily.

Just put some of your favourite tracks on there and use a custom soundtrack until you're done. Or turn the music off.

I think I am currently all of the online community of Sonic Racing on Vita. Hardly a surprise, but still disappointing.

That's what I ended up doing. Thank god for that, blech. I was getting so tired of the in game music hahaha. I think I might just move onto another racing game after I get %100 in Motorstorm.
As long as you don't disband your personal guard they'll never disperse, you can call them together every morning. What becomes a pain is when you're trying to get all the songs, then you have to keep waking up at the right time and keep calling in each group of villagers/classes and talk to them before they run away.

This thread also seems like a good place to share LBP-Vita levels. I tried something in our Trophy thread late last year but nothing really came of it sadly. This seems like a better community to try it.
BTW VitaGAF and TrophyGAF are my fav communities here, even if I don't post as much ITT. Vita is definitely one of my favorite handhelds ever. I feel safe from the haters here.

Also I'm not a total trophy freak. I love a good multiplayer arcade racer. I recently platinumed NFS Most Wanted on Vita and that MP was incredibly fun with other people.

Hori ones that extends to buttons.
Def. grab one that cover the button area as well, my vote goes to Hori.
Showing your system kindness and being gentle and caring so as to ensure the system is never in danger of taking a beating is the best screen protector, beyond that most people agree it's either the hori one or official one.
also getting megaman 9/10 free from plus tomorrow makes me a little sad that the vita doesn't have support for them. They would be loads of fun to play on the vita
So throwing it in the dishwasher to clean the screen would be bad?
