Think it says you need windows 8 for superhd on pc.

Sony PlayStation 3
Apple TV
Roku
Nintendo Wii U
Windows 8
Is the list on netflix site for superhd support.

Meh.

Probably not all Cablevision customers just those with Optimum Online Ultra.

Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of. Basic Optimum Online definitely does not meet the 5M/S download requirement.

Hmm, what are the chances of U-verse getting in on this before TWC? We have both at the moment.

cool, but too bad its only for OpenConnect partners (and no 360). fios is regularly one of the top isps by performance on Netflix's list (currently topped only by google fiber) without open connect

No Fios? I was on the fence about cancelling...this kinda does my work for me.
As someone who was on U-Verse for nine months, and who regularly deals with Charter at the GF's place, you are out of your mind. I finally got FiOS back, and I'm not letting go this time.

Just took a quick browse through my instant queue and almost every HD title is now "Super HD".

Just a guess here but I bet their "old' high quality streams that recently got downgraded are the new "super hd" ones.... ie just higher bitrate 1080p which would explain why most of their content is already in that format.

Actually kind of smart though.... gets their cdn off the ground faster by doing something like this and they really need to move to it asap and get off amazon. From what it sounds like all this really means is the isp runs a dedicated network to Netflix or Netflix houses servers in the isp's datacenter which will mean a better Netflix experience for end users anyways.

My isp works with it (suddenlink) but my primary device is still not supported (xbox). I'm sure it will be added in the next update or with the next xbox when it hopefully gets the win8 app.

Xbox 360 limits playback to 720p.

Not too worried. The next box will be out this time next year. And I'm sure it'll be compatible with Nextflix, or whatever it's called.

EDIT: Just remembered I have Comcast. Those clowns would never allow Open Connect. Hell, they throttle Netflix as it is now. Damnit!!

Honestly, I am sure the difference between HD and Super HD will be negligible for the most part. Would I like to have the option for Super HD? hell yeah. Would I change my ISP because of that one fact? not a chance. I am not a videophile by any means, but I thought that the Netflix standard HD looked really good already.

The only thing I wouldn't be happy about is not being able to stream the 3d movies, but from the sounds of it, the selection is pretty slim.

I don't have queue functionality (for some bizarre reason they decided we don't want it in the UK or something), is there another way to check Super HD titles? Are they specified on the details page or something?

Anyone know if AT&T U-Verse is compatible? I can't seem to find the list and the site only tells me where I currently am if it works or not.

I'm not sure, they showed up on PS3's app, but I haven't tried anywhere else.

I have to assume he was talking about Netflix.

Thanks, I'll try on PS3 later. Haven't found anything on PC yet, but I don't know if I have to force myself to use the metro app to do that. Going through the web browser at the moment.

Come the Fuck on Verizon ; ;

150Mb/75Mb connection could be used for SuperHD Goodness =/

65" 3D Panny Plasma: Check
