I just checked the Evo rate its 555 for a room for 4 people thursday-monday during evo weekend its pretty good
What 'I want to get rid of runaway' promise are you even talking about? If anything, they strove to make keepaway viable when they revised the game.
Yeah, they wanted to make projectile-based zoning viable.

Yes. While they fixed it a little bit by not gaining meter by whiffing normals, almost every fly character can fuck around in the air in many different ways. It just bother me that only half the cast can do that, and the ones that have fly are just better in general due to higher mobility. Well there's modok, but he's not brain dead.

Flight isn't nearly as good as it was in Marvel 2. There are a bunch of top tier characters who can't fly (the two or three best characters can't even fly). You also complain about missiles (I say fuck missiles too), but they prevent a lot of runaway, as does vajra.

Storm is actually good. Modok is fucking near impossible to play, Thor is Thor, and sure Trish isn't dominating simply because other people have better tools than she does. I meant to point out those characters have an advantage simply because they have flight. Thor is shitty because all his moves are slow as ass. Flight can't save a terribly designed character.
Those characters have all good mobility in the air though. They don't need flight. Those are exceptions.
Clearly people won't agree with me, but I just think marvel 3 is fucked up in the balance department in more ways than one, but i'll take it over mvc2 any day.

They actually do destroy near half the cast. Thor is weakest of those 4 and still does very respectable in the game... even having some decent match ups against the top tiers.
You forgot to list Iron Man, Strange and Sentinel. Sentinel gets destroyed by AT LEAST half the cast in the game. Strange has holes in his game and really his flight game is pretty bad. IM is outclassed too much by Doom and Magneto to ever be relevant in the game... unless you really want to play a team of Mag/IM/Doom. IM still bullies the Mid-Low, Low tier characters in the game who have bad mobility.
FGTV is a poor imitation of the old Sp00ky house streams for the most part. I don't get it either but people are free to do what they like.
House of Crack is way more informative because everybody talks about the games instead of just Champ and various characters from low to high tier are used. It's obvious the heart and soul of FGTV is Champ but he can't do everything by himself.

Marvel 3 clearly has balance issues- you're just focusing on weird/uncommon things to complain about. Saying Storm is good is a bit untrue- I'd say she's decent, and MODOK is certainly better on point. MODOK being awkward/unconventional is not the same thing as being impossible to play. Thor isn't that bad but he's not amazing either.
House of Crack feels like a genuine grinding session, because that's pretty much what it is.
At the end of the day FGTV is a business scheme and feels like it, probably because FChamp is always doing some gloating and acting like a sketchy car salesman. I still watch it, but only when they have other people over or special guests. It had it's role, and worked a platform to show off tons of great players that we don't get to see often. It definitely has given Marvel heads tons of great sets over it's lifespan. Recently I can't watch because FChamp is just trying way too hard to try and be entertaining but he's just quite the opposite.
BTW: Watching Bum's solo Chris whittle down FChamps team is hella entertaining. The Doom matchup specifically.

In the right team set up, she's amazing for the DHC, mobility and more. See Fanatiq who uses her pros to run a train on the entire east coast at ECT. Marvel is about teams, not characters.

Love fgtv house it's the meca for marvel. That is why so many top players make it there when they want to step their shit up.

Not a fair comparison. If they played at Bum's house Bum would play much better and probably body Champ.

You can't really make match up excuses when champ is making bum drop combos he normally never does. That pressure is what happens when vs the real top top players. I vsed Champ before (offline) and he def is a freaking beast he adapts so fast..also unlike watching a stream actually playing the person really lets you know how good they are or not.
Also, yesterday bum had like 55% win rate vs Rayray in their session. And, people claim Ray has the best mags..
This is gonna be great for bum though I think he will learn a lot from vsing champ..dude is legit smart player just needs to grind it up vs top level comp like champ...
