Dewott is amazing, but Oshawott is just alright.
Ah, so we're at this stage, huh
Water: Totodile = Froakie > Squirtle = Mudkip = Piplup = Oshawott
Fire: Fennekin = Tepig = Charmander = Torchic > Chimchar > Cyndaquil
Grass: Snivy = Bubasaur = Chespin = Turtwig = Treecko > Chikorita
You misspelled 'Umbreon.'
Dewott is amazing, but Oshawott is just alright.
Dewott = best second form among starters.
Gentlemen! You cant fight in here, this is the Pokemon Room!
Why no Oshawott love?![]()
Uh... didn't we already do this 3 days ago? It's too early for the thread to cycle.
For water Pokemon, I would probably agree. Him or Wartortle.Dewott = best second form among starters.
How I learned to stop worrying and love the PokeBomb.
Are we talking entire starter lines or just the first evos themselves?
Are we talking entire starter lines or just the first evos themselves?
Well I was only considering the basic forms.
Eh? Sceptile is the third and final form of Treecko. For water Pokemon, I would probably agree. Him or Wartortle.
Sceptile is my all time favorite second form
I was talking just first form. If we're talking whole line then Totodile wouldn't be top, Treecko line is the most consistent for me and it would probably top it. Thing is I don't like a lot of second forms :/Are we talking entire starter lines or just the first evos themselves?

I do love Sceptile, though. Probably my favorite final Grass-type.
Just starters.
I will compile a list.Well I was only considering the basic forms.
Me too. I really like Empoleon for example but damn... Piplup sucks.

What kind of monster doesn't put Totodile at top tier? HES A FREAKING DINOSAUR!

Nah, he's a wee crocodile.
Crocodiles are dinosaurs.

... I don't think that would have much to do with anything. Legendary Pokemon are themed after elements of the story they're presenting in the games. They're representatives of that story in a way. So double helix + X and Y Pokemon makes me think ... these games are gonna have a genetic theme to them. I doubt it will also have an axis/ dimension themed story to go along with that but we will have to wait and see with that.ok ,then how bought this being on the 3ds
Title is 3D because this is the first 3D Pokemon game. :/first mainline attempt at 3d pokemon , the japanese titles being 3D-ied unlike any other pokemon logo, is that enough for people to see the "axes" reference along with the obvious chromosome reference and posit that there may be a Z-axis "depth" pokemon? At the end of the day It probably isn't either or .
Both of these topics will be solved with either the main story being revealed or the appearance of the 3rd legendary. So if it's some kind of Z snake and the bad guys are trying to turn the world ... 2D or something then I guess I'm wrong. The key word there was "straight from norse mythology", yes it's a stag, the extent by which the pulled (if they pulled at all) is obviously debatable and it could both be norse mythology inspired and inspired on other myths like wyvern.
My whole point was that they aren't necessarily drawing from any one source of inspiration.
