Not really. I don't think anything can be worse than Brawl and SSB4.
I do feel bad for people who have been waiting for Duke Nukem Forever or Final Fantasy 13 Versus.
Maybe I am lucky that I have a couple Pokemon games to play through now to keep me busy and catch up on the series while waiting. Besides many other games as well.
It'd be easier if everyone assumes that Versus XIII will suck and fail to deliver in all accounts like DNF. Right now, we still have a bunch of people thinking it'll end up decent so the wait is killing them.

Next up on the docket is probably an update to the official site for the art from Xerneas and Yveltal. After that... presumably more information will either come next from Smash (maybe... I was expecting something this week, but nope), or from CC (next month). There's a chance that there's still some info from this issue that hasn't been shown yet (at this time), but there's not much more that they're going to show, besides (hopefully) some main character art, since we basically got the art for the starters, and know their first stage types implicily.
Aside from that, what comes afterwards... only thing that's probably set is updates from CoroCoro. Who knows when TPCi will randomly update people, considering we're 9 months out. Likely reveals include:
-Region name
-A selection of various Pokemon, including the usual rat/bird, the Pikachu expy (though it's possible that Chespin's the one this time around), and the movie mascot.
- Opposing team, and light plot summary
- Professor (closer to release than not?)
- Probably some extra details on battle changes, if there are any (I think we got the pledge info in CoroCoro before BW came out, for example).
Considering what happened with the Direct, there's a chance that this info will be revealed in some form before it shows up in the magazine - maybe it'll show in English first (like the legendary names), while the Japanese main site updates after the 15th. It's all guesses at this point.

I asked this a few days ago but I'm still curious, any fans come up with box art ideas? I haven't found anything on deviant art yet.
fake edit - i'm surprised i haven't really seen anyone who's drawn Xerneas in an X shape yet, i.e. facing the viewer leaning down with her legs outwardly perched ready to leap.
