If you mean the 32gb VIP section of the club, sure, it feels very nice to be here.
Too long have I been stuck with the commoners at a measly 4gb

I just got my Vita and 32GB card, I got like 15 games on here and 18 GB left to spare. I can't even imagine playing the juggle game with a 4GB card.

I can't put to save my life. And the 18th hole of the second course is water hazard hell. You think the first is bad, Grim. OH-HO-HO, you haven't seen anything yet. (Island where the cup is)

The course later where there's a small green next to a mountain over a void with sand traps by it...It's a par 3, but the hole is elevated, and the crown requires GIR on all holes. That hole, every damn time, prevented my crown for that stage. They get fun later. :P

What does it mean when you guys says Par 1, Par 2, Par 3? Is it just a score difference? And "green" is that the area where you start putting?

in golf, every hole has a par. the par number refers to the number of strokes that it is supposed to take to complete the hole. a par 3 is supposed to take 3 strokes (including putts) to get the ball in the hole.

the green is the grass that you putt on, yes.

Par is the number of strokes it should take to complete a course.

Par 2 means it should take two strokes to complete that particular course.

A "Par" is simply the number of strokes designated for a hole. A Par 5 would mean if you get the ball in the cup on your fifth stroke, you would get a Par. And yes, the green is the light area surrounding the hole where you start putting.

EDIT: Wow, beaten to a pulp.

Green is the putting area, yes.

And Par 3 means you should expect to get the ball in the hole in 3 shots or less. Par 4 is 4 shots, and Par 5 (the max) is 5 shots. Anything less than par subtracts however many under par you are from your total score, and anything over adds.

So on a Par 4, if you get it in in 3 shots (a birdie, 1 under par), you would score a -1.
If on a Par 5 you get it in in 3 shots (an eagle, 2 under par), you would score a -2.
If you shoot a 4 on a Par 3 (a bogey, 1 over par), you would score a +1.

You round score is the sum of total strokes, or more often for competitive sims and such, the sum of + and - strokes. In the above example, your score would be:

-1 + -2 + 1 = -2

Make sense??

How many strokes for par.

I was so much better at Hot Shots 3, I got lots of birdies and at least one hole in one.

I think it was easier because it actually gave the wind speed though.

I wish this one did.

Wow, thanks for all the explanations! Yup, it makes perfect sense to me.

I feel like I'm getting the hang of things quiete quickly with this game, not to say that I'm actually any good though heh. :)

Forget Disney Infinity I am more upset Injustice: Gods Among Us hasn't been announced for Vita.

Injustice for all.

So John Lasseter just announced Disney Infinity - their huge ambitious project, and there's no Vita version, though 3DS is getting it. =(

They probably looked at the LEGO games on Vita numbers and said "Nope". It is one less $75 SKU they have to put on store shelves anyways.

Are the LEGO games performing worse on Vita than they wanted/expected? They just announced a new LEGO game and it's coming to Vita too.

Finally got my first motorstorm tournament down to 10 minutes so i'm confident i can do the other three. I have no idea how I'm supposed to get another 30 seconds off that for the 40 minute trophy..

Tactics Ogre looks fantastic. P3P is alright but the in battle graphics look a mess. Could be that I'm coming from freshly beating P4G too.

Cool, I'm planning on selling my UMD's of Tactics Ogre, Duodecim and FF IV Collection to get the digital versions. Is it easy to transfer my PSP saves?

Does it seem a little sad that we're looking forward to an alarm clock =/

Top of the Page - BUY Virtue Last Reward, LMP Vita amnd P4G for god's sake!!!
If it can make you feel any better, here's my story: I had been on the fence over getting a Vita for some time. P4 was definitely nudging me and all the Plus stuff had seriously added to that itch.

After finishing (and being blown away) by 9 9 9 on DS last week, I figured I really wanted Virtue. I came across a good deal on Saturday (160€ for a 3G with Wipeout) and finally bought a Vita. The first 3 things I did were:
- buy a memory card (only 8GB, already regretting it)
- buy Virtue's Last Reward in the first shop I found that had it
- order a copy of P4

I'm really loving it so far, aside from these multiple account shenanigans.

And yes, there is some irony in the fact that a DS game finally pushed me over the fence.

I dunno, they're 3DS up ports so it probably doesn't cost WB a lot to release them, which is probably why they have Legend of Chima, and Marvel Super Heroes for Vita set for release. Again, Disney may have looked at those numbers (since they're targeting a similar demo with Infinite) and figured it wasn't worth shipping out 50k $75 big bundles or something.

The Lego Vita games deserve to sell shitty, if any company looks at those numbers and doesnt listen to the people why they arent buying them then boo on them.

Well yeah, I'm not that upset that Disney Infinity isn't getting a PS Vita version. It looks fun on the consoles and I'll probably ask for a review copy for either PS3 og Xbox 360 anyway.

I'm finally done with some reviews, so now I can return to the glory that is Everybody's Golf (Hot Shots Golf). ^_^

I'm guessing they probably thought most people buying the game would be parents for children and there aren't too many other games appealing to kids on the vita so they'd have less risk putting a cheap port on the vita, the young ones would be less likely to mind or the parents to know better.. shame but hopefully they'll get better with time.

Because of the picture blowup. They really need to allow 2x pixel and a normal view like the PSX. :/

But the Vita is exactly 4x the native res of the PSP, so it's already "pixel perfect" in a way (1 psp pixel is 4 pixels on the vita screen). I still agree that some games look better with Bilinear Filter on though.

Lego games probably have good turn over week after week compared to modern games. It's not like parents are attending midnight launches to buy these things, they just buy them at birthdays etc getting whatever the latest title at the time is.

Owz ugh, as I said earlier, I found Syphon Filter for PSone on my PS3 but as somebody said, it has to be in a bubble. But it's not in my PS Store history, so I guess that means, that I won't be able to get it onto my Vita.

Vita am cry.

Alright guys random question... Does anyone know if GameStop will take a Japanese Vita as a trade in? The thing has an english setting... but will the SN give it away?

Cross Post from the OT Of Wake Up Club. It's up now btw.

Setting my wake up club alarm for 8:30 AM right now vitapeeps.

I remember just looking at the top of the leaderboard on non-trials and aiming for 3-5 seconds slower than them. Shouldn't take too long.

They dang well better be performing crap.

I don't want crappy straight from 3DS ports on the Vita when it can handle much better performance.

If I want the 3DS version I'd buy it on my 3DS.
