I think it's true inasmuch as you can't stay with someone long germ based on looks alone. There needs to be some other connection or spark there.

Actually, yes it is. It's why chest hair is no longer a thing that went out with the 70's. Yes there are bears and the like today but those are mostly considered a fetish and not the norm anymore.
Same thing is true in the straight community. Bottle blonds used to be a thing. Now they're not.

well, no one told me lol. I got chest hair. Not much, but it's there. I don't think it looks bad. Either way, who cares. Society will tell us what is beautiful, but most of us have our own opinions. Just the way it is.
I'm 30 and I still get asked for ID. Happened last night when buying Far Cry 3 (I've only just gotten around to it). The older you get the nicer it is to be asked

I know that feel. My attempts at bulking up have lead to bigger upper body(slightly) but I've gained weight too in the not so good places.
