My Lucario has topped my Pignite as my main Pokemon. First time I've ever let another Pokemon overcome my starter like that. Usually, My starter is like 80-something and everyone else is high-50s/low 60s.

I'm glad they actually change the movesets around for the newer games now. Having some Pokemon learn things at earlier levels if they show up earlier in the game is a great idea.
Much better than the old days when you bred a Magmar in Silver thinking it would work extremely well in a new Red file, finding out its only base move was Ember, and the second move it could learn was Leer somewhere between level 30 and 40 because they hadn't planned for it to ever be found under those levels

Fennekin is a fox. Foxes =/= Dogs (Canid =/= Canine).

Typhlosion is a badger/porcupine. Hell, it's wrong anyway because it's Cyndaquil who is touted as the fire mouse, and even then fire "mouse" is a mistranslation (it should be fire rodent).

Charizard is a generic European dragon, not the actual Chinese dragon like Gyarados or Rayquaza.

My Lucario has topped my Pignite as my main Pokemon. First time I've ever let another Pokemon overcome my starter like that. Usually, My starter is like 80-something and everyone else is high-50s/low 60s.

Same here along with Haxorus, and N's Sigilyph. Samurott got shafted in my B2. I just found such a good team that Samurott became dead weight and then turned into my HM slave (Cut/Dive, Strength, Waterfall, Surf).

You can't expect everyone to get the facts straight. Not like their fun imposes on yours. GF seems to like trends and patterns, and who knows maybe they stretch their views on things to try to get some pattern that the general public could identify with.

Exactly. But remember the starter evos? We had Snivy and Oshawott's 2nd forms not long after they were announced, then there was the actual leak with all 6 starter evos before they finally unveiled them right before prerelease (and Bulba spent days denying them because Reshiram's nose had scanned funny). And that fucking photoshop analysis site bullshit.
