I believe it is, yeah. If your system breaks, you could try contacting customer support and see if they can do something involving your Club Nintendo account or something, but I'm not entirely sure what they do to resolve those problems.

Well the DLC characters may not be part of the in-game story, but they make sense as much as some of the other characters in the game.

I love my Pokemon too, and I realize I might be in the minority, but for me, Fire Emblem is the premier Nintendo franchise. It's like 25% of the reason why I even buy Nintendo platforms. Pokemon is fun, but after B/W and B/W2 I have some pokemon fatigue.

Man, this looks so good. SRPGs never seem to click with me, but without fail, Fire Emblem always manages to hook me. All this stuff with support and pairing sounds amazing.

I hope the demo will let you play around a bit with character creation options, but I won't be too upset either way.

The models in battle are at least a vast improvement on the ones they used in the DS games.

SRPGs are really fun for the first 5-6 hours, then the game seems to open up too much for me and I get lost in all the stats/classes/weapons, my brain overloads, and I quit. Happens in FF Tactics, Advance Wars, Fire Emblem, Tactics Ogre-- this game looks too good to pass up, though.
