I can't believe people get so upset about this stuff. Crazyness. Why would you want a game to be shitty? Even if you don't like it, or don't want to like, why get so upset that other people do?

I wonder if this type of ridiculousness happens on message boards about other products.

I love honey nut cheerios, maybe he got the ass-taste batch or something?

You guys are just proving you're not true vacuum vans. Henry or nothing, he goes HAM.

Unless they'll suddenly reveal that the Jurassic Park thing will happen today I'd guess that's no longer happening this week, unless Unprofessional Fridays is that now.

It will happen today. From Jeff's tumblr:

When I get out the rest of the guys will be prepping for a QLEX of The Cave, which will run a little closer to release. Then at 3:30 Ryan and Patrick are going live for their Jurassic Park thing.

Oh cool, I'm pretty hyped for The Cave :D

This was a pretty good response he gave about the angry DMC fans:

Anonymous asked:
The new DMC was developed by pretentious tools talking down to and berating old DMC fans and talking about how incredible the story was going to be. Then the game comes out and the cutscenes are even dumber than old DMC without any of the jokey attitude and gameplay and scoring have been simplified to almost God of War levels. Its not exactly surprising that people are pissed. It feels like no reviewer out there has the DMC love/experience to meaningfully compare the combat.

Or the original Devil May Cry fanbase went in with a chip on their shoulder and took every single bit of information about the new game as a personal affront. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for taking games seriously, but at some point people just get unhinged about the wrong shit. It’s not like EVERY DEVELOPER IN THE WORLD doesn’t say nice things about the game they’re currently developing or anything…

Move on. Devil May Cry is dead to you. That’s fine. Because it’s not like Capcom Japan was ever going to make a “real” sequel. If they had any meaningful intent in that department, they wouldn’t have let the US office make the deal with Ninja Theory in the first place. I’m not saying you have to like it, but letting it consume you like this doesn’t do you any good. Raging about it just spreads the name of the game even further than any marketing can. Pretend it doesn’t exist. Don’t read about it. Don’t talk about it. Or try to stop holding on so tightly and maybe give it a shot?

Either way, try to devote your energy to a game that you actually enjoy and champion it instead.

I always thought of Dyson as kind of the Alienware of the vacuum world. Loud, overpriced and overdesigned pieces of shit.

MOAR SPINNIN SEE-THRU TUBEZ!

Finally they are continuing the Jurassic park thing. Took them long enough. Wonder how long it will take until we get the Turbografx 16 stream...

So Jeff sort of responded to CBSi-gate:

Hey, so we’ve been getting a handful of questions from people who have heard about the internal kerfuffle between our parent company and CNET over CNET’s Best of CES awards.

I’m actually not really sure what to say about it. People are looking for me to comment on this stuff, but CNET’s Lindsey Turrentine has already laid out the timeline of events over on CNET itself. It sounds like a bad situation—the kind that can only really come up when you’re a part of a huge corporation that has interests all over the place. On one hand, I can understand why the folks up top wouldn’t want anything popping up that would interfere with its court case. On the other, independence and integrity are the main things you expect from an editorial team. What happens when these two ideals clash? Well, that’s where we are now.

Many of the questions I’m getting ask us what would happen if our parent company ended up in a lawsuit with a video game publisher. The good news is that this is a pretty unlikely scenario. The bad news is… well, see above, I guess.

For the very reasons you might expect, I won’t have anything more to say on this topic for the time being. We’re going to keep doing what we do because that’s all we know how to do. All we can do in response to this situation is to keep reporting for duty each day in our continuing efforts to deliver an editorial product that is entertaining, informative, and trustworthy.

Expected response to be honest - as netural as possible.

Looks like they either got new streaming equipment, new cameras, or both. Stream is a flawless 720p+ (maybe even 1080p? I dunno), 60fps stream, and not stuttering, which never I never seem to get. Looks hot.
