I really don't see the point in all these fan theories and 'creepy pastas' that attempt to make Pokemon more dark.

Maybe it's just me but I think it's already dark enough as it is.

It's not overt about it but you have stuff like Lavender town or Bannette being a discarded doll that now seeks out the child that disowned it.

Or Parasect being a Paras with a fungus slowly eating its brain to the point of being a zombie.

Or Shedninja's hole stealing peoples souls.

The fact that these little tidbits are scattered through an otherwise cheerful series is what makes them so much darker than Pikachus covered in blood ever could be.

I made this one in Photoshop, editing each frame individually and merging layers. Then using a timeframe animation.

Others use Adobe After Effects which is probably nicer to use.
