hey guys! i've been a premium member for awhile, but i've never been able to figure out how to watch the premium live feeds. today i decided to look around the site for an answer, both on the regular site and seaserpent but i'm stumped. is there a specific place i should be looking?

The Gameboy version of Jurassic Park was actually pretty awesome. None of the games they played today seemed all that similar.

edit: I guess I was actually talking about Jurassic Park Part 2: The Chaos Continues on GB.

This doesn't look like the whole thing, cuz I skimmed to the end, and I remember the stream not ending like that.

Yeah, I seem to remember it being like 6-8 hours long. They expected OG Xbox Live to shut down at midnight, but before long it was like 4 in the morning and it still hadn't gone down.

I just remember vividly how it ended, because we got a shot of Ryan and Dave at like...4-5 in the morning, sitting on the couch looking exhausted, lol.

I remember getting into a game of Chaos Theory MP with them and snapping Vinny's neck as a spy. Ryan said, "Clearly we have stumbled into some top level Chaos Theory play right before Xbox Live ends." lol

Does anyone got a link to the latest retro livestream they did? It's not archived on the site.

Not talking about the Jurassic Lark stuff, it was somewhere in december I believe.

Edit: Found it! 4 hours? Oh my god.

I'm learning that GB content is severely limited when you avoid Patrick at any and all costs. No one's problem but my own, but it's the truf.

Looking forward to some Ni No Kuni coverage next week.

I'm not, unfortunately.
All signs point towards it being a very traditional 40+ hour JRPG with an all-ages approach to the design and story.
I suspect (but I hope i'm wrong), that none of the GB staff will give that game it's proper due except maybe Vinny.

Yeah, I don't think any of 'em will really be into it.

I really just meant a Quick Look, hopefully featuring Vinny. The Eurogamer review makes it sounds like it has some pretty good depth.

when it says part 1 on the archive, does that mean it was longer and they have split it up, or was this just part 1? (ie is there more they didn't upload yet)

No it means they are going to do another live stream of more JP games at a later date. They haven't recorded part 2 yet as it'll be another live stream that's then archived.

Hating Patrick is still a thing, huh?

Personally, I can't stand Drew. What a total asshole, with bad posture.

Was the Jurassic Park stuff worth watching?

Perhaps it was amazing, but I really don't see watching old Jurassic Park games being played as much fun.

Are people that desperate for content that spending an evening watching this equals entertainment? I would love to honestly know why someone would find this more satisfying than playing a videogame, or watching a film. I'll stick with not subbing, and listening to the bombcast while I commute.

Not like we get much else.

There were a handful of funny moments (
raptor door, being the best
), but it was very much more a straightforward look at the three games they played. If you had a very strong fondness for Jurassic Park, definitely give it a look. If you just want to watch something amusing, maybe wait for to see how the next one is.

I personally enjoyed it, since I got to see some titles I grew up playing, but whatever.
