Has Vinny ever expressed interest in a JRPG besides Persona? That genre never really seemed to be up any of their alleys, unless I'm misremembering.
 
Vinny does good impressions of characters with funny voices. I don't expect him to finish the game or anything.

His accent is so heavy, when the game was only in subtitles, I thought it was a thick rastafarian accent.

Patrick said he enjoyed the third Jurassic Park movie more than the second movie during the livestream yesterday. I was so disgusted that I had to stop watching the stream.

Oh, you don't have to convince me that Vinny should be in the QL. He should be in everything. He's the best. Literally, the best.

Sometimes though, it does mean that theres a second part coming soon.

I've never seen the third movie but The Lost World was pretty damn bad, at least that's how I remember it. I only watched it once.

The original Jurassic Park was like a childhood dream come true, though. I saw it in theaters when I was 13 and I think it was the first time I watched a movie and was completely enthralled.

It's a classic and holds up
 
Both 2 and 3 are pretty bad but expectations were a lot lower with 3. Also I don't recall anything in 3 that was as horrible as that girl using her gymnastics to kick a raptor in the face.

The ending with the
raptor whistle and the entire american armed forces showing up on the beach was preeeetty awful.
Those are my only two major gripes with what I remember from it. I don't watch 2 or 3 nearly as much as I do 1.

Expectations lower or not JP3 was a sloppy monster movie due to the spinosaurus, and it was poorly directed. Anyways, these make me cringe more than the kick:

-Boat of peeps being magically torn up without the boat stopping or a dinosaur being seen
-Eric surviving two months alone
-T-Rex piss in a jar "You don't want to know"
-Cell phone in Spinosaurus belly ringing loud as hell from like a mile away
-Who's cellphone was it anyways, they say its pauls, but the Mercenaries have it at the beginning of the movie while shooting planes... but it still has Pauls jingle
-cell phone in pile of dino shit
-"She sent the navy AND the army!"

TLW had some issues, but JP3 was a bad movie all over. Well, the Pteranodon scenes were nice, and the Raptors weren't bad.
 
Why is the Raptor whistle a bad thing?

I thought it was pretty cool, using the way they communicate with each other to confuse them. I liked that whole scene it showed that they aren't just mindless killing machines, all they wanted was their egg back and the way they gently took them from Amanda Kirby.
 
Jurassic Park 3 literally had its story thrown away and started over 5 weeks before filming..its no wonder its a mess. They literally were writing it and making it up as they filmed. Which is likely why they boat scene makes no sense... wtf killed those guys?
 
-The scene where they're on the boat trying to call Ellie and her son is watching fucking Barney.
-THEY WERE SMARTER THAN DOLPHINS, EVEN SMARTER THAN APES
-So damn smart that they can hide behind tubes to pretend to be pickled dinosaur rejects to fool humans with no depth perception


Lost World was awful because it was a bunch of unlikable people getting eaten by dinosaurs because an even more unlikable murdering terrorist (one of the good guys) lets them loose.

Because it was some some 3D printed object that Dr. Grant somehow managed to figure out how to use to talk with them in some kind of significant capacity instead of the Raptors just eating them. I'm all for being willing to set aside disbelief, but it was asking far too much.

EVEN SMARTER THAN APES




The only good scene in 3 is when Grant basically shuts down all the questioning students with a rant about how the "dinosaurs" on Jurassic Park were freaks of nature and science.
 
TLW has some amazing scenes... The raptor attack in the long grass, the dino round up by InGen, Tyrannosaur attack on the trailer, Compy attack, Rex attack while everyone was camping out, etc.

JP3 had the aviary.

He didn't "talk" to the raptors, he was trying to mimic their vocalisation to try and confuse them. I'm not saying JP3 was anything other than tripe but it has some good ideas.

Looked pretty close to talking.


Besides, there was the dream sequence talking raptor also. "Alan". Ugh.
 
I've blocked out 3 from my memory entirely, so I'm guessing that was worse. The games stream was great though. Kept it funny and interesting. Laughed at Ryan's discomfort during the first person stuff, and then I started to get queasy.
