I'm curious how old you were when you saw them. I'm sure the special effects of the more recent films were better and for a child that may be all that really mattered.

Only 3, if I recall correctly. They were the ones on NES, SNES, and Sega CD.
It will be ongoing, though, and they're bound to play all of them, since it looks like Patrick now owns them all (or close to it).

I think it's still up from the Jurassic thing, it says so on the beta site. Live chat and beta live chat are apparently separate like that, though, so it doesn't have to be.

The raptor scene in the grass is the best thing ever in anything. I kinda want Crysis 3 just because of scurry monsters in tall grass.

More or less 9 or 8 when I saw 1 and 2 and 12 when I saw 3. Dunno, I liked better the action sequences of 2 and 3.
I thought that it was way cooler a movie about a bunch of hunters and some scientists trying to escape a dinosaur infested island than a bunch of scientists and children trying to escape a Island with dinosaurs . And I enjoyed the humorous tone of 3

No there isn't anti Patrick sentiment going on over there. There is anti Patrick sentiment going on everywhere but there. Dude has to be constantly battling with confidence issues, even if he is able to realize that most of it is stupid trash from internet idiots.
They really do need an editor for written pieces though.

I thought Patrick was going to be a good fit, eventually, but he (and they) haven't done much to try and make him more likable. He's in way too much content, and dominates too many discussions. And when he interrupts people by stuttering multiple times with each stutter louder than the last until the person finally stops and Patrick can then continue I get so mad.

I'm not sure any of us have had much a voice in the direction of GiantBomb at all, subscribing or not. All the same, I enjoy most of the premium content I get as a subscriber and am happy to support GB so long as there isn't another content drought next summer

I'd like to defend Patrick because I personally think he adds a lot to the group and I like to hear what he has to say on the podcast but at this point, people know whether or not they like the guy and there's nothing I could say that would change anyone's mind. He definitely rubs some people the wrong way.

I'm about the same, and I went for medium. It was a tad long but not too long, and I think a small might have been too small. YMMV, of course, but it fits me mostly fine.
