You are pulling the bolded out of your ass. No offense but there's no winking and nudging. You are seeing what you want to see there.
No offence taken but you are forgetting the bit about 'yes we doped but that was like having air in our tyres and water in our bottles' 'so you mean everyone was doing it?' 'well, I'm not going to say that, but other people might say that'.

It's not even subtle man, come on.

"She's one of the people who got run over, and I feel really bad about that, and-"

"You sued her."

"Did we? We sued so many people, I don't remember."

I dont see the point with this interview when he is still avoiding and playing stupid.. Operha should just fucking let him know that she finds him crazy and really press hard on him.

This guy is the king of slime.

Hey now, slimes are pretty cool too...

Then reveals he reached out to her personally to make amends.

THIS GUY.

I will be honest;

I always felt bad for him. Thought that he was forced, was under pressure, got caught up in the success and etc...

Really hoped that he would truly let it all out tonight and start a long healing process for everyone involved.

Now I'm watching this and:

Fuck you lance.

She's actually doing a pretty damn good job. She can't go full HAM otherwise she won't get these types of interviews.

He started off this interview being very forth coming with all this, but this last turn completely dodging the suing of others question. Yup, that's more about what I expected out of this. I mean at this point I partially don't blame him, he's in too deep, but that's exactly the problem.

He said that thinking "everyone is doing it" was how he justified it to himself. He didn't lay a blanket accusation across all other riders, he has been explicitly staying away from accusing others.

Maybe I misheard but he says at some point he viewed it "as a level playing field"

If that is not a nudge and a wink, I dont know what is.

I love how his PR guys probably convinced him to do this with the potential of making him sympathetic and regretful but is instead coming off as a complete apathic cunt.
