I'm definitely picking Froakie in terms of design. Same with Xerneas; it's won my heart over completely. Love the battle art style too, as it closely resembles Sugimori's art style. It's like 6 years overdue to put everything in full 3-D, but looking back, they probably weren't ready back then. I can only imagine what the next news will bring.

Whimsicott is almost more racist than Jynx now that I think about it. It is a tuft of cotton.. Yet the creature is dark skinned.

I think Haunter has a better, more sensible design for what it's supposed to be. Gengar is a bit of an oddball.

(I was saying Haunter's less "cute" because of its spikiness. In this case, cuter isn't better. )

It's actually a 4th gen move. My favorite, though. I used to watch lots of PBR battles on youtube, and every time someone fired off that move I knew the game would get interesting. It's even funnier when both sides try to get it up only to turn each other's strategies off.
