And yeah same here I want to see the official art of both characters too. I went through a similar process as Team Chespin I guess... at first I pretty much disliked the design of the female main-character from the footage and was sure I will stick to my alternating scheme and pick the male main-character though after seeing all the fan-art I started to like the female design more and more.
 
I feel like I've abandoned this thread but I've been swamped. Gotta keep up with the grind so I can actually play come October. It's all for the love of pokemon ;)

I was Team Chespin from the start. My opinions of the others haven't changed. I like Froakie too but Fennekin is just blargh to me. I'm also looking forward to playing as the female MC, I'm gonna have a lot of fun customizing (if that's actually in...)

Well, just gotta convince EatChildren to look the other way, then :)

(100+ pages on a single trailer is impressive, still - to be expected considering when we got a vague "we're making a game" statement last time)

Well to be honest from the official art I think Fennekin isn't _that_ great either though it's battle-spirit convinced me more, that and I have a weak spot for foxes and the like :P But I can easily understand why Chespin lovers like its design :D I also like Chespin very much and I really have to say Gen 6 is easily a Gen where I like all the initial staters though I have to see how the evolutions play out :/ And I also look forward to the customization part should it be in because I really don't like the hat of the female MC, atleast not ingame from what I saw.

Also should customization make it PokéGAF has to make a Trainer Fashion Contest! xD

My friends cat was named Coltraine. It was a big fatty of a Siamese... I keep picturing you as that cat...
 
I'm starting to think that Chespin is my favorite, but I just can't choose another Grass starter after using them since Gen 2. Life is hard.

This is a guaranteed buy for me. My first Pokemon purchase since Diamond waaaay back in 2007. I think this game will draw back in a lot of lapsed Pokemon players like me who've gotten sick of the top-down style that doesn't seem to have changed hardly at all since Red/ Blue. Pokemon is finally evolving! Pun absolutely intended!

As much as I'd like to see some type balancing/new types added. I wager the probability of that happening is astronomically low.

The names in the Japanese (conveniently left out of the English) for the X and Y Legendaries are already wrong--so feel free to ignore this one.
