Yo me regale unos sets de lego. Un X-Wing, Tie fighter, un par de modelos de la linea Technic a muy buen precio (de hecho me hubiera gustado comprar mas de esos y revenderlos), y unos autos y aviones de la linea Creator.
Tambien algo de ropa pero nada que llame la atencion, no hay buenas marcas que ofrezcan ropa de mi talla asi que prefiero ir al tianguis y comprar los pantalones talla 44 y camisas XXL que pueda encontrar.
Por el otro lado bajar de peso es mi proposito para este año asi que espero poder comprar buena ropa el siguiente año.
Ropa, no me queda perfecto pero bueno, que se va a ser. To be fair though, mi peso para variando.
Dinero, no mucho, fue directo a mis tarjetas haha.

i need to know what "El dgo en la noche" means. I'm guessing "dgo" is an abbreviation of some kind. Google translate gives me "the dgo at night" but that doesnt really help me

should be "el domingo por la noche" or "en la noche del domingo" which means "on Sunday night"

I just assumed that the grammar was wrong from a EU-spanish perspective, but i figured it could still be correct spanish somewhere else. I don't speak the language at all.

All variations of that phrase are correct, some are used more than others depending the country and even the region, I would say "el domingo en la noche".

Solo queria decirles que aqui tienen a otro miembro de GAF que tambien es latino. Parece que habemos varios aqui en NeoGAF lo cual me sorprende, para que les miento.
Casi no posteo, solo me gusta leer las locuras que los demás postean. Me la pasó mas en el lado Gaming pues es lo que me trajo aqui en primer lugar, ya hace unos ayeres.
Soy de Tijuana (México
), y una de las grandisimas ventajas de vivir en una de las fronteras mas grandes del mundo es el tener acceso al idioma Inglés desde muy chiquito. La televisión, radio y los video juegos fueron mis grandes maestros. Gracias a saber Inglés he conocido a muchas personas y he formado varias amistades que han sido duraderas.

It always impresses me when people say that. I've seen your posts and your English is very good.
I have a Brazilian friend who learned English mostly from playing RPGs as a kid and it boggles my mind.

Haha yeah, I know it sounds crazy but it's true for a lot of people. It's unbelievable how easy it is to learn English (or any other language I'm sure) if you're exposed to it constantly through all these mediums.
Also are you sure, you're remembering my posts? I rarely post that's why I would be surprised to hear I made a nice impression on you!

It's not really that surprising. We watch American movies and TV shows, listen to their music, play their games, etc. If you show just a little interest in actually learning is not hard with all of these resources available.
Likewise, there are people who despite all that, can't probably even say hello. It all comes down to being interested in learning a language.

Yeah, i'm not spanish (though Italian is close enough, so much so that i can almost read spanish at times) but i learned English mostly through videogames and movies.
Shenmue and Phantasy Star Online especially (the first one sported a very basic english and the second one forced me to use it online).
The Dreamcast not being localised in Italian was a great help, in this sense.

Heh, no, I just searched for them a minute ago to see how good your English is.
I'm sure is the same for most. I personally haven't even been in an English speaking country. Forums taught me English, which is probably pretty terrible heh

yeah I also learned english by myself, mostly by playing games and listening to music. My school's english classes were pretty easy, I have to say, and I never understood why my classmates were so bad at them. I mean, one of them answered "I DON'T KNOW" in *every* question of a test

Juraba que solo hablabas ingles por lo bien que lo escribes. Me sorprendió mucho cuando vi tus comentarios en español.
Yo lo aprendí con los juegos de video, internet y viendo películas con subtítulos, pero claro, venir a Estados Unidos me ayudo mucho.
