Vita PSN Game & Service Thread 2

Dorimukyasuto, there are user scripts for specific browsers that allow you to change the theme of NeoGAF. There is one for dark screens. Google a bit and I'm sure you'll find them.

As for Call of Duty, I'm certain there won't be one on Vita in 2013. In fact, I'm so certain that if Vita gets an exclusive Call of Duty game I'll buy it for someone on GAF.

On the mobile site at least, preferences -> theme and then choose dark.

The preferences looks like its only for mobile (still good to know about). Kinda weird it isn't an option for the full site. I'll google around Takao. Thanks for the tips guys.
 
Oh boy. Been contemplating BlazBlue Continuum Shift Extend for a bit now, but that PSN maintenance led me to finding that the PS3 version was on sale for like 10 bucks, so I snagged that.

Yet despite that, I have the nagging urge to still nab it. Bite the bullet or save a few lives?

I bought the CoD game on vita and got it in the mail on Friday. Yeah it sucks like everyone says, but it had the potential to be soooo good. I get disconnected from a game in progress quite a bit, it feels a bit choppy. Had it been smoother and good connections the game(online) would be solid. I wish they would make one in 2013 and make it what CoD:Declassified should have been.

Conspiracy theories aside, mods are getting more strict with what you're actually posting in threads. If you're not really adding to the thread or calling people out for things, it's usually grounds for a ban.

I really want to use wake up club for my alarm but I'm worried it'll piss my wife off considering that we just recovered from a fight over that very same thing - games and game consoles bwahaha. Gonna hopefully get %100 in Motorstorm RC the coming week so I can move onto something else.. really wanting to get %100 in Lumines but the lack of a platinum makes me upset..

MW4 port or whatever, which would actually be better if its cross play with the PS3 (PS4?) Version(s).

Ironically I switched to left stick for steering and right trigger for gas, and found that the triggers don't respond all the time and then put gas to the right stick, which helps LOADS on the pursuit challenges and stuff when you're driving those completely uncontrollable cars.
 
To me the default controls of MotorStorm RC feels perfect. It's literally like controlling a real RC car where you have a accelerate and brake button while steering it with a stick.

Come to think of it, aren't most RC car toys coming with a d-pad on the controller and not a stick?
 
I like the default controls for the most part (I moved reverse/brake off the stick though). Some of the cars are literally uncontrollable though, it's insane D:
 
Does anyone even use the brake in RC anyway? Think I ended up with the gas on R, although I tried it on X, O, right stick etc, but the right shoulder feels best~

And Schobel, it's an alarm clock. Tell her it's an alarm clock. You wouldn't be interested in the trophies or anything, right?

Brake is useful when you unlock the supercar challenges, but otherwise just letting go of the gas is usually enough
 
All the talk about about God Eater Burst is making me want to buy it lol. I had Freedom Unite, but sold it after my PSP's screen was broken. I'll see what this upcoming sale has to offer before I pull the trigger, though.

I don't think it'll be on sale, but maybe you'll get lucky! It doesn't play much like MH, however.

all this talk is making me finally want to aside aside a few hours to play though
 
Motorstorm RC was amazing. Got 17 hours of glorious racing! The online ghost stuff was really well done. Shows how an online portable game should be. And it didn't cost a cent.

Most come with a pistol grip with the trigger being gas and brake and have a wheel on the side for steering. I don't know of any RC car that steers with a stick and accelerate and brake with buttons. Unless it's some off the wall wierd rc toy.

I need to replay the story. Really wish you could replay missions once you complete it but I know that would break the game. Once I platinum the challenges/DLC, then I'll probably restart.
 
I want to buy Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice since Sony forgot to take it off sale from months ago (still priced at £3.19; LocoRoco 2 is also still that price if anyone's interested) but it only works on PSP. I feel like a scrub playing on my old PSP now!

Really hope that Vita sale for EU is soon and includes a lot of PSP games.
 
Weird. Just got an online invoice for wallet funding from last month.

Transaction history ties it back to when Tokyo Jungle was in the 12 days of Christmas sale.

Ummmm, can't spot the wallet funding confirm on that date or around that time, just the purchase confirm. Must be a delayed automated e-mail.
 
So this is SO awesome.

Got a 32gb, transfer and restore...and then got a corrupt error...system restarted itself and then nothing. So I restore and everythings great....BUT MY TROPHIES ARE MISSING. I signed in and synced up....nothing, gone. Tried to do PS+ storage to my Vita....and it timed out.

wtf happened :(

If you're referring to local trophies, booting up every Vita game will restore them on your list.

Awesome games, that was a lot of fun. That shot on that last par 5 where I almost clipped the mountain could've ruined me. Very poor decision making to go with the driver there.

I've got two missing GR story trophies that were lost when I switched to and back from my JP account. Not a trophy guy but it feels weird. Gives me a decent reason to play GR again at some point I guess!
