God of War Ascension Thread of Singleplayer Demo Sharing/Giveaways

Maybe someone from the EU who bought Total Recall will make another dummy account, though I wouldn't count on it. Another way to get it is rent Total Recall blu-ray from Red Box if you live in North America, since it's on the 2nd blu-ray disc. However you have to hope Red Box gives you the right disc, though I've heard some people were successful in doing this.

Otherwise guess everyone else just has to wait until next month for the bigger single player demo.
 
The dummy account works again.

Had the suspicion that the guy who did it might feel guilty, so I tried to log in again with the old PW and it actually worked.

Man you have to be a true piece of shit to change the password of one of these dummy accounts. Hope you're reading, asshole.

BTW OP when this happens you can just tell PSN that you forgot your password and they will send you one to your email account.

I just wanna say this happens every time these things are given out to the public at large on neoGAF.

It's not that GAFers themselves aren't generally decent people, but you gotta remember there are other places out there with sad miserable folks who have been banished from here who read this place and just want to take any opportunity to make trouble. I once saw a certain other place gloating that they had taken the account and changed the password when another one of these types of threads occurred.

but it's only possible for GAF to get the account info. you have to quote the OP.
 
So a couple things I noticed on my most recent playthrough that I didn't before.
  • With the world weapon sword you get at the beginning and then again once you climb the wreckage, if you throw the sword at an enemy (L1+O) a white halo appears above their head, then tether to do the enemy dash like from GOW3.
  • If you hold SQUARE nothing happens. This is a disconnect with the multiplayer. All the other primary attack mechanics are the same in both single player and multiplayer except this. Hopefully it gets added in. (Square for light attacks, Triange for heavy attacks, L1+Square/Triangle for special, hold Triangle to launch, Circle kick/world weapon, etc but nothing for hold Square)

How would someone change the password anyway? Wouldn't they need the emails password?

I never had to change my password on there before, except for after the PSN hacking where Sony made it mandatory.

No, you can just change it on your PS3. But if you don't have the password at all, then you need your email to change it.
 
I wasn't able to snag this, but I wanted to say thanks to the OP for trying to do something nice anyway. I also want to thank the dick that changed the password. Nice going!
 
Shame I didn't see this earlier; sad someone ruined the party.

I think whoever it is changed the email as well. Why does PSN allow you to change both password and email without access to the email, I do not know.

If your email-address was changed, you should have received an email with a link to customer support:
http://www.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/support/

And additionally you can see in the recipient list the new email-address your psn-account was changed to.

So the email is sent to BOTH addresses, the new and old one. ;-)
 
I love the Square, Square, Circle combo.. Kratos just starts wailing on the enemy with his fists. :lol so great.

Also, wtf at somebody changing the account info. :/
 
Oh god i went to enthusiastic to depressed in the matter of a minute by entering this thread.
May the person who changed the psw witness the rage of Kratos.
 
Wow, I was too busy to do this earlier today and now it looks like I'm too late thanks to ANOTHER password change? Man, people love doing stupid shit just for a laugh.
 
We'll just have to wait for someone else to get the film. Whoever the GAFFer was with the last code needs to be perma'd >.<.
 
Unfortunately looks like no one else will be getting the single player demo from this. I wouldn't worry too much though, it's extremely short and there's a new longer single player demo coming out very soon. Also noticed this from the EU blog,
