Damn son.
I simultaneously do and don't want to get a job right now. Things are weird.
Get a job and build that experience. Waiting too long puts you behind the curve. If you've got lots of quality experience behind you, you're always attractive to employers even in a depressed market. That alone is how I survived 3 layoffs while still providing for a family of 4.
Cant tell which is cuter, you or the cat.
I make $20/hour now, but I think things here cost more so it evens out.
They only pay so high because the risk of being taken down by a drop bear is equally as high. The AU government wants to ensure the citizens live a fulfilled, albeit short life.
Dave makes about as much in a 40 hour work week as I make in two months.
He makes more in a month than I make in a year!
He makes more in a year than I've made in my lifetime.
But I've also lived almost 20 years longer than all of you =P
Dave, you are even more attractive now
I just moved into my new house. Unused basement.... just sayin.
I'm 29 in... 48 mins! Woo!
Wow, and I thought I was getting up there in salary @_@
I'm now 29!! *blows out birthday candles*
... *is old*
YOU! Happy Birthday good sir!
I just saw how much Dave makes an hr and I wanna say fuck my life! D:
If you saw how much they take in taxes, you'll not be so eager =P.
Seriously though everyone. It's a good income, I cant lie about that, but I'm the only working parent of 2 children living in a very high cost of living area where rent on a 2BR 1,000 sq foot apartment is going to run you about $2300/month. But my salary takes care of my mortgage, my truck, my wife's car, all the utilities, all the groceries, every incidental and on top of that, huge medical bills for my daughter. In the end, I'm just as broke as anyone else on here =). I still look at Day 1 $60 games and think "Damn, maybe when it goes on sale" =P
