When is your order supposed to arrive? It's supposed to be here tomorrow afternoon for me.

I'm less sore over getting my order cancelled (I could have ordered last Summer and didn't, so them's the breaks) then I am over them knowing they oversold a week ago and deciding not to do anything about it until now. I want my money back, but realistically they're going to ship all the orders they're able to fulfill before they get around to canceling mine and refunding my money. Since they missed the mark by a mile on the restock, they should have been able to easily cancel the majority of the oversells last week (maybe keep a small pool of orders live with the notification they're wait listed or something for cancellations.) Now I'm just waiting for them to rip off the bandaid and actually cancel my order--I am not even considering buying the regular version of the game until a refund has been processed.
I don't have that information. The UPS tracking page still just says the label has been created, doesn't actually have any useful info.

Okay, now I've got time to do things about this. Never got a reply to the e-mail I sent this morning about be accidently deleting whatever e-mail they sent me.
Questions:
1) What's the phone number I should be calling?
2) What's the creation date on everyone's orders? Mine is 1/8/2013, but my order date is 1/17/2013 though. The not order I did today to see the Order In Process page says that not order today was created today, but no order date.
3) Does anyone have a shipping confirmation, but nothing on the UPS tracking using the order number?

No email, no updated status on their website, but there has been a shipping label for my order number since yesterday, so I dunno on my status of my order anymore. It seems to be in some limbo in between Digital River and UPS.

Nice to finally have it in my hands. I consider myself lucky though seeing what many of you are going through though.

Hope this gets sorted out so the rest of you can get yours as soon as possible.If I'm not signed into UPS.com and I run my tracking number, I get that same info... *but*, if I'm signed in and run it, I do get a projected delivery date of Monday. I'm pretty sure that it has something to with having set up a UPS My Choice account with them back when I was getting my iPhone (it's free), so something to try if you get bored...
Yikes, that is just 7 minutes after I ordered..................very stingy.........sorry that you were left out...........pretty weak on Namco's part to oversell like that and wait til now to cancel..............
I just tried that, but no dice. Oh well.

That's really not much better than having it in game.
I only intend to play this if I can get a physical copy of the book, since it's the only reason I've been interested in it. It seems like something more games should do if they're going to have a real sense of backstory for everything.

I ordered on the 17th around noon, still no confirmation or cancellation...I'm not even in a rush to play the game but this waiting is killing me. I just want to know >_<

If I am not mistaken, they cannot legally bill your card until they ship your item. This is why I'd be somewhat relieved if they did charge my card.
Keep in mind an authorization hold and an actual charge are not the same thing.
If they charged your card and didn't ship your item, i'd dispute the fuck out of their charge. Your credit card company is happy to dispute any charge since they hit them with fees for every dispute and the customer (you) always has the benefit of the doubt
People that ordered way later on the 17th are getting theirs. I have no idea how they determined what to ship and what to cancel.

what state do you live in? Just to give us an idea of where the packages are coming from.
I'm confused too. I used Paypal and got the receipt almost immediately, so my method of payment wasn't the problem.

Did you order 3 day shipping?
I used whatever was cheapest, so I don't know.
Indeed, I choose the cheapest shipping, I think it was 5 - 7 days for like $6 something, back when I ordered on June 30th and they shipped my copy on Wednesday with the delivery scheduled for tomorrow.

I did One Day shipping or whatever the one for 17 something was and I think I got the cancellation e-mail maybe.

I decided not to wait until tomorrow to call again. This time I immediately asked to speak with a supervisor, and explained that my Paypal account was already charged last July, and I was quite concerned that I hadn't received an update about my order.
The lady seemed clueless about how Paypal works, saying that they are charging people when they ship the order and that I wasn't charged. I double checked my paypal account, and yup, the money was taken out when I put the order in last July.
Either way, she said that even though the website says it's still "in process", my order had actually shipped earlier today. She gave me a tracking number, I tried it, and it checked out as coming to my address.
Yay! Although I have to keep skeptical until it's sitting in front of me.
Perhaps a bunch of people had their boxes shipped, but were just not informed. Hahahaha... yeah right.

Yeah but the localization wouldn't have been nearly as good. From what I'm hearing this is one of the best localizations ever.

I've written Namco/Digital River essentially saying their handling of this has been unacceptable and if they wish to keep me as a customer for future purchases they'll fix their mistake ($20 off using that broken site is not an acceptable "fix", in my mind).

Actually, a few people said this happened to them with Digital River in the past. They would recieve their package and get a shipping notice days later.
I'm hoping that's the case for a lot of us....
I am so frustrated over this as well and I hope that mine will be shipped but I doubt it will be now and probably will be canceled since I got that email, I have been charged and the money was taken out.
The rep I talked to last night was really rude, I probably am going to call back and complain to a manager.
If I don't get it I hope they refund me asap.

While you may not get a shipping confirmation, you will definitely have a shipping label if it's shipping/did ship. So that means if you put your order number in as a reference number at UPS's site, then you should be able to see whether your order shipped regardless of whether you got an e-mail.
Yes, they have. My friend, who sits next to me at work, had his ship. Ordered at the same time as you/me.

I just called and gave them a different address to ship to, in case the one I have isn't good(it was a P.O. Box). All the talk of UPS made me think "oh shit, they only ship to physical addresses!".
I REALLY wish they would just get whatever they're doing over with though. If they're not shipping it, I would go ahead and buy it somewhere else. I would really like to play the game.
