Only games I'm probably going to get in the near future are:
Metal Gear Rising, Fire Emblem Awakening, Hatsune Miku Project Diva F, Pokemon Y, and maybe Project X Zone.

It's a restaurant called The Chop House. I went to the Annapolis location but they also have two locations in Michigan and one in West Virginia. If you go on your birthday with some friends or family your meal (minus drinks) is free, so say you have a party of four, 1/4th of the total would be taken off the check. It's a pretty sweet deal, and their food is to die for.
 
Revengence is definitely tickling my fancy.

I really don't know what is coming out this year... The new Monolith game gave me a stiffy, but I'm a Mecha whore. And I probably won't own a Wii-U anytime soon. And Tales of Xillia comes out this year in NA. I like that.

Plot and characters are better than Graces, but that's not exactly difficult. The environments though. Oh god. Why. So dull and boring. Ugly corridors. I can't.


I am looking forward to The Cave, though I'll have to find some money before I buy it. Fire Emblem should be fun. Double Fine Adventure, of course, assuming it actually appears. Soul Hackers. I actually own the Saturn version but not having a Saturn impedes my ability to play it. Antichamber looks awesome, so hopefully I'll be able to find money for that as well.

Haven't bought many games these past few months, but I'm probably going to get MGR, not sure yet as it isn't like a typical MG game.
The only game I REALLY want to play is The Lsst of Us, but that's soooo far off :( I think May or June? And it looks like The Last Guardian is stuck in tge development hell. :(
 
oh, Metal Gear Rising demo should be out here now, will check it out right away! Games there aren't enough of though, are games that one can play on local multiplayer up to four players and that aren't shitty casual games. That's what I miss today. Me and my friend's still play the shit out of mario kart 64 (battle mode) and Super smash bros melee/brawl. I would love a new timesplitters! Everything is going online now, like why can't you play even have two player local multiplayer on the new SSX or Need for Speed? That's fucked up, I literally want to be able to laugh in the face of people I'm beating.

This year might seriously be the best year in gaming for me, what with SMT4, the Kickstarter RPGs, Killer is Dead and hopefully some of the games revealed in the Nintendo Direct yesterday.

It also might be the worst year for my wallet.
 
Called what I thought was a medical customer service line for work. Ended up being a hot sex line. I listened to the first three lines and damn were they quick to talk super dirty. Good thing I was on a headset and not on speakers haha!

Not having lock-on is a relic of the past. Any good action game worth its salt has a lock-on feature so you can properly attack enemies. Devil May Cry, God of War, Phantasy Star Online/Universe/Portable, etc.

Those games do not have location based damage except for PSO2 but it is not very important.

In Monster Hunter different parts of a monster are vulnerable to different kinds of attacks and different elements. Also breaking or cutting parts of monsters is important. A traditional lock on system would make these systems harder to use which is why previous games never had lock on and the newer ones don't use a "true" lock on.

I am guessing you have never actually played these games considering you have no idea why lock on would not be an improvement and think a 4 player game is an MMO.

I've played one MH game. Can't remember which one, but it was a PSP one. And there could be an option for hitting a different target on a body, like so many other games have done.

I said "MMO" because I'd rather play Phantasy Star Portable instead of MH since the former is a better-made game. :3

I like PSP a lot. I haven't really gotten into MH despite owning two games in the series. But, like, calling it an MMO due to this reasoning doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

It helps in Bayonetta as an alternate way to do some attacks (pressing towards or away from the enemy). Monster Hunter doesn't use the stick for attacks so it doesn't benefit from this.
 
Why do people post in the show your gf/lover/wife thread to say that the thread upsets them? I still don't fully understand why they are upset in the first place.

Maybe they wanted to see boyfriends/husbands. Or maybe they're sadsacks who want girlfriends/lovers/wives but instead of going out and trying to meet people they turn their ire towards happy couples on the internet. It could be either of these things, but it's probably the last one.

Maybe because people feel lonley, but if you feel down for watching people with a partner they shouldn't visit those threads.

I made a new friend on the ferry in the fall. He identified my place of work from logos on my coat and decide to talk to me about it every morning, standing or sitting really close to me.

Eventually he commented on the fact that I didn't say a lot. "Oh, I just enjoy the peace and quiet of this voyage in the morning."

He did clue in at that and didn't bother me much after that. Felt a bit sad. Haven't seen him in a while.

Because I'm one of those rare and long forgotten nice guys that girls befriends but not date. Instead the assholes in that thread don't respect their girlfriends since all they care about is showing them off. If they were mine I wouldn't be so disrespectful like that. When will girls learn that I've been here all along? I guess it's true that they say guys like me finish last.
