New news!

- PC version will cost 40 USD, 30 Euro and 20 Pounds, releasing 22nd March.
- There will be a free benchmark test for the game in February.
- As with RE5 for PC, there will an exclusive Mercenaries mode called No Mercy which has a whole bunch of enemies active at the same time.
- PC version at launch will have immediate access to Ada campaign, coop for Ada campaign and camera options (sounds equal to the December update for console versions). Any other updates released for console versions will also be released for PC in in the long run.
- Versus modes will be released for PC too, but will not be available at launch.

Other news which Capcom didn't mention is that map pack B will be released on this upcoming Tuesday, which includes the final 2 maps for mercenaries and all other multiplayer modes.

Capcom is really firing on all cylinders here if they are going straight for $40.

Will wait for $15 at least before I jump in though.

$40 is just too much.

they dropped GFWL right?
...

anyway since Capcom seems PC friendly lately..do we have any news/info/hints about Dragon Dogma for PC?

20 pounds is rather cheap (roughly AUD$30.30), but after completing the game with a mate on the PS3, I have no intention of picking it up until it's within impulse buy territory. Not because the campaign is still fresh in my mind, but rather I didn't particularly enjoy it at all.

Yeah, DmC marked the beginning of Steamworks for Capcom games.

Not that I'm aware of.

Capcom doesnt get digital distribution/Steam, this will never go down in price, im still waiting for Lost Planet 2 at a reasonable sale.

It's Steamworks, so maybe GMG will come through again.

It was just on GMG for 8 bucks.

Game is steamworks. No GFWL.

Sven from Capcom USA has mentioned he's still pushing for Dragon's Dogma for PC, but there's no news on that front.

If by some act of god it has a cursor aiming mode like RE5's Wii emulating setting, then I'll double dip after a price drop. Better framerates with the QTE killing patch might make this game bearable a second time.

And yet that 3DS port is $50 isn't it? Not that I'm complaining here but they make no sense at all.

Annnnyway if GMG steps up and is able to knock another $10+ off then I'll probably be on board.

Good on Capcom on reducing the price but I still don't want to touch RE6 at that price with all the impressions I've read.

Look them up on http://www.steamprices.com they're pretty much par for the course alongside other publishers. Stuff like AE and DMC4 is basically sale fodder at this point

Anyway assuming distributors throw on another 20-25% off, this'll easily hit $30 in no time

Currently playing this finally on the 360,all in co-op with my nephew and man,the game is pretty good in co-op...we finished Leon's Campaign and currently going through Ada's...so far so good,I think it's the Jake and Chris campaign that people didn't like mostly...

Anyway, good to see a PC version...

It makes sense when you consider you're getting at least 10 if not 20 more dollars in value from Revelations.

Sure nothing beats a steam sale but 40 is pretty sweet. the console versions average 20-30 ( used/new)

But they don't include free VS modes, Exclusive Mercs mode, and the eventual mod support. Plus like I said waiting for a steam sale would put it at 20 or less.

They easily could have tried 50 out the gate here, or 60 like some other companies do with months later ports wit not even half the extras

nude modders rejoice

YES!!!!!!!!!!!! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hell yeah! I'm very excited for this despite the general reception the console versions received.

I'm also pumped for Revelations in May.

It makes sense if you look at each release individual (RE6 PC port is a half year late and console versions have already been marked down in price, and Revelations is coming out for all platforms at the same price and it has a bunch of new content compared to 3DS version), but it is weird when you compare the 2 side by side.

I hope the community gets behind this game and releases some texture assets to improve this game's visuals. It needs a bit of polishing up.
