The left was always about controlling the people. Healthcare, Public Transportation, Police, Firefighters. Everybody HAVE to chip in so that everybody can have it. Its not a choice. You cannot not pay your taxes, even if you dont use the school, public transportation and ect.

The left want to remove you from the public. Your religion, is your religion, keep it at home.
Where the right is suppose to be for the freedom of religion, where the state cannot force you to do anything.

It's weird that republicans are not pro-choice and pro same sex marriage. And even weirder that they are in favor of the death sentence which is probably the biggest government intrusion possible

That's not controlling people. That's giving them the freedom to live their lives. You have a fire department so you don't burn in a fire, and the police so you don't get shot randomly walking down the street. Healthcare so it lowers your chances of dying at 6 years old. Etc. Etc. Etc.

You said "supposed to be" so you obviously realize that there are two things going on, what they're supposed to believe and maybe what the modern parties are actually advocating. Liberals want no control over your social lives whatsoever. Unless your social life is lynching for fun then yeah they'll probably stop that. Communists are a strange wing of that and yes they would "interfere with your social life" but overall "The Left" doesn't. Not even in an abundantly simple way for a fancy picture. Even an inch away it says it's goal is personal freedom.

Republicans SHOULD be pro choice, but America problem is that even the Left is Right right now, and they are still under the control of religion, which mix the political levels a bit, since they have to keep in mind the rules of the religion.
Republicans are all about leaving the governement out of your life. Your life, your choices, your money, ect. Live and let live.

The Democrats are about everybody chipping in, and everybody being on the same level. Nobody is superior or inferior, everybody should be equal and have the same rights as everybody else. A extreme left party would even start matching people together like "Okay, you dont have a boyfriend, you dont have a girlfriend, you will be united and procreate".
I'm more of a Center Left guy. I dont want people to become crazy powerfull by abusing other people, but I still want my individuality.

You didn't go to school? You don't walk or drive? Every been to a library? Ever hear sirens in the distance? Read any stories about people who were saved from fires or people who were arrested for robbery?

What are you trying to say? I simply describe what the Left is. Unity. Right is about choice. For example, some states in the US who are Right Right, make you pay a Firefighter Tax. If you dont pay it, the firefighters wont stop the fire.
Happened last year. A guy who didnt pay the taxe as his house burned to the ground. The firefighters came and watched the house burn to make sure it didnt touch the house next to it who did pay the tax.

That's a bullshit oversimplification that never helped anybody understand anything and only serves to deceive people into thinking that "it's all just common sense."

As for the firefighter tax, that's a questionable law that's open to change. As far as I recall it, the man's house was a trailer home outside of the city limits. If I remember correctly, he moved outside of the city limits to avoid paying a firefighter tax.

Nope, it was a normal house. And he simply didnt pay the tax. You seem to think that I try to push the right movement. If you read the topic, I already said that I'm more of a Left than a right guy. Right is about having the choice to pay X to get X. Left do not give the choice.

Hah I'm putting my money on arson, I don't get how firefighters can be in practice something optional, what if my house is very close or even attached to that of my neighbors and he didn't pay his tax, will they only start extinguishing the fire when the flames touch my property?

Sounds incredibly dumb.

I seem to think it because the words you use and the order in which you frame them suggests it.

The right is not about choice.

How many fucking civil rights movements must there be for you to acknowledge that "the right" has never been about choice?
