Guys, just watch some PWG. You will feel better.

Also, THIS.

A near 500 day reign, the longest since Hulk Hogan's 1000+ day first WWE title reign, and CM Punk's biggest achievement, just got ended by a single standing elbow drop.
It was the most electrifying move in all of sports entertainment, show some respect.

Exactly. Ten weeks of Rock/Cena II promos, and Cena smirks, followed by a WM match where its all about "mutual respect". Cena gets his win over Rock (and the title), and Rock rides off, back into the Hollywood sunset.
Has there ever been a more predictable scenario so far out from Mania before?

Now they have a grey screen with the WWE hud and they're playing the audio from the Shield attack.....someone fucked up and didn't turn the stream off. LOL.

I would have been totally ok with the Rock winning if it weren't for Cena winning the Rumble.

This is going to be dreadful TV for you poor souls.

Same here. I hate that fact that Cena won the royal rumble. I was hoping for Ziggler or at least Ryback. I don't mind Rock winning, but I don't want to see Cena vs Rock again. :(

So...Only 2 options left..

1. Twice in a lifetime
2. Triple Threat

The triple threat would have at least had some decent build up if Punk would have been champion. Vince has big balls giving Cena the spotlight in a NY/NJ crowd. No one wants to see that asshole win again.

I... I think I'm done with WWE.

I mean... Punk still gets his rematch clause, but it doesn't even matter. He won't win the title again, and even if he does, they just ruined his streak, for nothing.

Wrestlemania 29 is going to suck. Twice In A Lifetime. Ziggler becoming World Heavy Weight Champion only to be screwed over again, I bet. Probably a Kane and Daniel Bryan match, and Daniel will NEVER EVER get another title, or push, because who cares if he's the most over guy in the company! Who cares if Daniel always gets big pops! He isn't Cena! Screw DB!

WWE is going to fail in the future. They bury all their future talents and stars for Super Cena, or their oldies like THE ROCK who doesn't even care enough to stay as a Wrestler, and only comes back to promote his bad movies.

/cynical

Longest title reign of the last 25 years.

the most irrelevant title reign ever.

he never main evented, he never got respect. he always played second to Cena.

the one time he main events, he loses, to a peoples elbow....a move that no one in the history of the wwe has ever lost to.

yeah, so much respect. this just screams "fuck you indie guys, go eat dicks. homegrown talent or gtfo"

pretty much :(

Let's be realistic though - do people in here want Punk to hold the title forever? Wasn't more than a year, more than anyone in the last 25 years more than enough?

And Rock paid his dues years before Punk had indie fame. Yeah he came back and got a title shot, but he was in the upper echelon when he left and was part of the crew that paved the way.

People are pissed because this all so that Cena can be upped to God status.

For a PPV designed around surprises there wasn't a single one.

Heck we knew this was exactly how the PPV was going to go down almost a year ago and yet WWE creative didn't think to change the plan.

Now we get Rock vs Cena 2 with Cena going over and then next year we will have the tie breaker.

When did we first learn of this plan? Was it before or after last years match?

In April 2011 Cena told Rock he would fight him for the title at Wrestlemania. Then summer of Punk happened and they shelved that idea. Then after Rock beat Cena at Mania he said his next goal was to be WWE champ. So really it all kind of fits just over two years instead of one.

Is that Karl Anderson in a title match?

I think you have my money, NJPW.

I just want to see Punk actually main event a Wrestlemania and not play second fiddle to Cena. Since now his whole reign just looks like it was just a long ass delay till Cena could get his accessory back. He could have been a real superstar instead all we'll get is Cena since apparently he's the only superstar allowed.

He'll main event next year against Stone Cold.

I seriously hope the people attending WM29 boo both Rock and Cena and do nothing but chant for Punk or Bryan all night. It's pretty likely to happen too considering the hardcore crowd that usually attends.

What is it with massive title reigns and crappy endings? Cena's Superest Super Reign ended because he got injured (probably would still be going on otherwise) and Punk's ends solely so Cena can be put over extra specially t WM.

He'll main event next year against Stone Cold.

No, John Cena sitting in the ring talking about his day will main event.

No declarations about not watching from me, I'm a sucker through and through :P

But man I hope Ziggler and Bryan get good feuds leading into Wrestlemania. Signs are pointing to no after tonight.

Here's a summary of Punk's title reign:

Beats a bunch of jobber heels. Some awesome matches with Daniel Bryan. Turns Heel, cheats and DQs a bunch of jobbers. Cena. Gets beaten by a part-timer's elbow.
