Episode 16

Motion comics rock. Lol. This episode had some really nice colors and decent layouts. Just wished things would fucking move a bit more sometimes. Oh well, at least this wasn't a fight!

...why? Do you not understand the things I like and look for? I care about efficiency and good work above all, whether there is a lot of frames or movement or not. Not to mention all the praise I often give to Dezaki's work, whose style was essentially "motion comic" too.

It only irks me when tasteless, talentless hacks like the clowns at SHAFT abuse it with absolutely dreadful results.
Posts like this are why I'm so tsun tsun for you.

Why is this show still the best thing ever?

One thing I'll say about the motion comic status of the show is it makes it a lot easier to watch while lying down.

Maybe they should have a kickstarter to get more frames of animation.

It's pretty impressive they manage to keep it somewhat visually interesting though. I don't think many other manga to anime adaptations can say that.

Also, at least we aren't getting Musashi Gundou level crap.

Lisa Lisa might be one of the most beautiful (or hot) women in manga history. For real.

really?

................really?

Weirdest thing about Araki's is, when he started making pretty female characters he somehow decided they should be underage. Well, in Part 5 and 7.

Nah he started in part 4 with the
ghost girl

Also Josuke's mom got one hell of a lifting between the start and the end of Part 4.

One thing I don't like about her design after her debut in the anime is that (manga spoilers)

I finally see how similar she looks to Joseph, practically a female version of him now. For some reason I remember her looking less masculine.

Don't ask for the whole world. You're far too greedy.

Do you want things to move like they did last episode? Because I'd really rather they didn't go that route.

Incidentally, can anyone think of a property as major as this that's got an anime that looks this budget? I can't! I guess Berserk getting the Studio 4oC treatment is kind of similar but it's not nearly to this extreme.

Every long running show is pretty budget.

HNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGG YES, one of the first thing I noticed is that the coach driver didn't have his face impaled when I first watched, Jojo in its uncensored glory!

Wow is redoing frames(or just faces, in this case lulz) common practice for the video release of an anime series?
Yep! They even did it to musashi gundoh. (won't someone PLEASE post that comparison gif of them running with the single added frame of animation, I can't find it.) Some of this stuff doesn't seem like too much of an improvement, but whatever.

Mine hasn't shipped yet. Can't wait. D= wanna see those English subs!

You tell me.

To be fair, only the chapters after the first hiatus are THIS bad.

Wow what the fuck is that?!

I can confirm that the volume version is a thousands time more detailed and better drawn.

Learning new things about manga/anime everyday :)

Seriously those scribbles loooooolll
