It's unfortunately, because obviously the parents have no self respect. If they did they wouldn't be acting like idiots in public. The children will likely grow up not not having any self respect, and commiting crimes. Crimes that taxpayers will have to pay for.

That's what goes through your head when you see this? "Oh no, my tax-money!"

Dayumn. No remorse for her, she wanted to trash talk and act like a man, prepare to get treated like a man. I just feel sorry for the kids.

Compression really did a number on it, but here is my gif of this thing:

Good lord. lol

Taking The Incarnation's post as reference, it seems a lot of people in the UK also say it. Seems the sickness has crossed the pond?

Anyways, what about the word "negro"? Would I offend a black person by saying it? I ask because that's what we call black people in spanish. It isnt a bad word here. It's like calling a white person "blanco"

It's fine if you say "he is a negro" or "he is a blanco". But if I'm walking down the road and you shout out "Aye, NEGRO" best believe I'm Deion Sanders'ing my ass across the road to put summin upside yo head

I don't talk like that really..I'm quite British. Mate

Maybe EVERYONE should do the same. Not just white folks. There are a lot of people of many races and cultures who are tired of hearing that crap.

Life isn't fair. And yes some Black people will use that word at their own discretion. No one is going to stop just to make you feel comfortable. Just don't use it and you'll be ok.

How do you know you're not confusing that with sarcasm or cynicism?

Woman may say to another woman "sup skank! :D"

Is she setting her sex back two decades?

I know that they're not serious.

But I certainly I don't want to think the world nigga when I see another black person regardless of how innocent it maybe..

Most black people that I know who don't use the word are doing well in life. The ones that do, not so well. Like in that video here, I doubt it's even being used consciously so deeply ingrained it is, and it's being used in a negative situation, a lot.

This I don't get. How is negro more offensive to you than nigga? Mind you, I'm not trying to tell you what to be offended/not be offended at, just trying to understand

Hence my weak willed comment. Mainly referring to the UK.

We pick things up easily without really thinking why.

I would say not to use it in English speaking countries.

Ignore the word - accept the context.
Unless you're reading a Huck Finn novel or quoting a rap lyric at random across the street to wandering mahogany passers-by as part of some performance art piece, there is literally not any acceptable context for you to scream "AYE, NEGRO" at some black dude you don't know/who isn't in on your joke or art piece. The best case scenario of that (outside of being ignored because people think you're just a crazy screaming guy) is the person you're screaming at coming over to you all cross and asking what you mean by screaming that at him.

Again, everyone should do themselves a favor and just avoid these more weighty words entirely. Don't bother trying to parse them and divine the "rules" for them.

Damn, that was depressing.

I was so close to taking a job in Atlanta. I know not all of Atlanta is like this, but I've seen too many videos and news articles about bad shit in Atlanta. Glad I didn't take the job.

It's so much fun to be reminded that black people are always judged by the lowest common denominator.

The majority always filter out the good and see the bad when it comes to minorities. They're whole forums dedicated to such things where their members search the net to confirm their already crystallised beliefs about different races, genders, sexuality and religion.

It's what happens when a person's subconscious is full with junk, anything contrary to the dominating images and thoughts will get filtered out automatically. .

Atlanta is not really that bad, but when/if you find yourself in or close to a situation like the one in the video it can really sully the view of that city. Same can be said for Charlotte NC, or my hometown Columbia SC. The Dirty South persona is really taken serious by some in those cities.

I could say a lot regarding all that, but focus on the last part.

The successful black person is under one of the biggest microscopes allowed in the workplace. He's not going to risk screwing himself by speaking in a way that he might feel is natural precisely because of the mentality you just described.

Country white guys don't have to deal with that.

Oh, I don't use those words, not to worry. Was just wondering. In some cultures the word is used frequently. For example, I grew up in Russia, and over there (I'm not sure if that's currently the case) they called blacks "negr." It comes from the Spanish word negro, not from bigger. Though I suppose all those words stem from the same root word. It was used as a descriptor, not as a derogatory term.

Feel bad for the security guard....he has to put up with all that bullshit and someone in the end will probably end up shooting him to death.

I wish the trash, especially the trash that mooches off the government wouldn't multiply, and just crawl in a hole and die.

This is completely anecdotal on my part but after living in NYC for a while I notice that most of the time when I witness black women fight, this is there go-to style. To filibuster. They just scream the same thing over and over again in rapid succession. Has anyone else noticed this?

Hahaha not off at all.

Yeah cause Atlanta is the only major metro with people like this...

The white guys that I know that say "bro" are generally not very successful. The ones that don't say it tend to be.

Noway that guy is getting paid enough to do that job, fucking hell. Pretty impressive how calm he stays in that second video considering how many people were yelling/threatening him.

True enough. And I know that more than most, since I grew up being the only black in school and pretty much college as well.

Getting thrown around, kicked, shoved, slapped and generally just emotionally and physically abused by teachers from the age of 4 years old getting called nigger by other kids and having teachers laugh wasn't that much fun, getting called black this and black that by teachers on a daily basis for pretty much 14 years. It's a miracle I wasn't sexually abused. My older deaf and mute brother wasn't so lucky.

Not getting into trouble. Well it didn't matter, the teachers just lied to get me into trouble anyway.

Like I said I'm pretty much going to view anyone using the word nigga in a negative fashion in the UK. Though it's not something that really bothers me outside of my opinion on a person.

The same way Jews are sensitive to Holocaust jokes, I am to the word nigger, nigga or any other variation for obvious reasons, far removed from slavery. When Whites or Asians use the word regardless of the context, it's just blackface without the paint at the end of the day.

He point is they wouldn't catch as much shit as a black guy in their position.

Bob gets upset at work and raises a voice " Man Bob is having a bad cause of the Mondays"

Dy gets upset at work and raises a voice "Officer, he just went nuts. If I had known he was this unstable he would have never been hired."

This smells of bullshit to me. If someone is yelling/screaming/breaking shit, they will get the cops called on them regardless of color. And it will be after they've been asked to leave. I don't understand this fantasy scenario where Dy gets the cops called on him for...raising his voice? I don't buy your scenario.

If you want a white equivalent to the folks in this video, it's WHITE TRASH folks, not country folks, and no one puts up with their bullshit outside of Walmart or a gas station either. This is about class, or rather a lack of it, and the only thing that races changes is what form it takes.

Same principle as driving while black, or being in the wrong area. Hell we forgot where a black harvard professor was arrested for going into his own home. Black people, and especially black males are held to a different standard.

You can just say "same principle" but it doesn't ring true to me at all. The Harvard professor's story is so well know because of how extraordinary it is, so it isn't a good example for anything. I still fail to recall black employees being arrested because they yelled, or there being any tolerance anywhere for people of any color to act like trash on the job unless their boss is trash too. I think you're making a race thing where there isn't one.

Let me just put it this way, since I know you're going to see it through those goggles regardless: Acting foolish or speaking unprofessionally isn't acceptable when you're being paid to perform a job, even if Whitebread Jimmy did it and got away with it. You should still expect to get the firing you deserve if you do, even if Jimmy didn't get his.

I have literally been threatened with mace for raising my voice to break up a fight between 12 year olds during a basketball game.

But thats beside both points here.

He didn't make it a race thing. People were spewing bullshit about how black culture is a cancer way before he even posted. Instead of even dignifying that with a response, people are talking about principles that are backed up by the experience of reality that comes with many of these kinds of events.
