Yeah, mint complete copies of the Japanese version don't go for anything; I got one about 10 years ago for about $12, and a quick look shows that hasn't changed. It's cool that he's doing that, but I hope that people aren't donating thinking it's worth a lot more than it actually is though (i.e. the US version).

I had zero expectations.
If only such a thing was possible. Even if the communities were on the same page, that wouldn't stop a random prick from adding a small amount to either game in the end to break the tie.

That'd be a good way to paint an invisible bullseye on the Smash and Skullgirls scenes that can only be detected by EVO staff. There can only be one unless they make an exception.
Yeah, I just rounded it. Skullgirls and Melee alone will probably move this into the 100k range. Don't know what to expect from the other games.Total between all games is $76,993 atm.

People are gonna be saving their later donations for Skullgirls until the stream starts. There's going to be some people bidding for that stick...
Ravidrath: What if you do it like an auction during the stream, keep letting people know how much the highest donation is if they're sending proof as you're broadcasting, and perhaps let people make extra donations to add to their totals if they get 'outbid'...?

and the big cahuna (with like 4k+ matching) is tomorrow on vgbootcamp
I think if Melee goes into the final day with a 5k+ lead, it'll be hard to beat. The final donation drives might just cancel each other out
