An Ailcorn is the combination of a pegasi and unicorn with enhanced magic and other abilities. The equivalent would be Usagi's transformation into Eternal Sailor Moon or Goku going SSJ3.
And the brony upheaval about it is that the show created to sell toys is trying to sell toys at the expense of the show's integrity.

This is going to really blow for the dude that just spent 30K on ST if it doesn't win. At least if Smash or SG lose, their donations are spread across a community.
Whoever that dude is should have just waited for the last minute if he wanted to make it count, but in either case I don't feel sorry for him. Sniping a game in the last minute that's not getting money is really low. It's arguable that there's a complete lack of interest in a title like that if it's only dependent on one or two guys donating money, and it invalidates the hard working communities who want to get their underrepresented games into a bigger light.

Almost all the donations came within a couple of hours in very large denominations, so either it's the work of 1 person or a small group, or it was the result of a charity drive in Japan like some have suggested.

Yeah, I can't even muster up a smidgen of disappointment over the game I wanted to see (SG) getting pushed out. It still lead to thousands of dollars in donations. The ST snipe puts a huge smile on my face, even though it's not my horse in the race. That's pretty incredible. Right on the heels of AGDQ, too.
Who cares how old the game is? People still play and watch baseball and that's been around for ice ages. Keep your butthurt rational pls

There's already plans for ST at EVO that's apparently going to be announced next week So if the money did come from Japan then these guys have essentially screwed up Skullgirls because they didn't know what's at stake.

One could make a list of games that have been released post HDR (the latest release of ST) that are dead and in their grave. Imagine a list of games post arcade ST that are dead and in their grave.

I think everyone here can agree that charity = good, but it's arguable whether or not that's the mindset people who dump all this money go in with. I honestly don't see why it's hard to get why people would be disappointed if Street Fighter gets in over the other games, most people really hoped this would be an opportunity for some underdogs to shine.
Definitely agree that there's some hilarious and rather ridiculous salt to be had though.

Last year Tournament of Legends was amazing, especially the GF between Kusumondo and Mao. Game may be old, but it still brings hype and competition at the highest level, there's a reason it's still popular after all these years.
