And people say that I'M GAF's worst. I think we should all thank scytheavatar for redirecting all the hate surrounding the charity drive and bringing it all onto him.

Especially since he deserves it.

Meh... no matter how bad a poster is i wouldnt put them on my ignore list...people gotta have enough self control to not let posts get to them like that.

Beyond that stating that you are going to ignore someone is extremely childish, and doesnt really make you any better.
 
lol, I don't think this compares to the type of drama that Cross Assault brought. If anything, it's on the other side of the spectrum and the media should be on it right away.

Nah. I can deal without reading anymore of that nonsense on GAF. And I have no problem in expressing how reprehensible it is, in publicly saying that none of his posts are worth my eyeballs scanning over them any longer.

He has some legit knowledge, and maybe it's worth sifting past that slimy narrative to read for some, but no more for me.
 
If anything, I'm glad that ST is this close to making it. The Tournament of Legends was pretty awesome to see in person last year at EVO. The ST guys deserve a spot too for all the effort they been putting on trying to get the community to play the game.

I just don't know how can anybody find the game boring, really. Especially if you grew up with it (I would like to think that's the case for most people in the FGC that play the damn games).

Well, you can't like EVERY fighting game out there, I'm sure there's some you don't enjoy. To other people ST just falls in that category, it's very easy to see why some wouldn't like it, and others would.

Some that I don't enjoy? Maybe. Hell, I find VF is more exciting to see than ST, I think. But I don't find it productive to talk shit about them.

Well, maybe on online forums so people can get confused and think I'm being serious and call me creepy or some shit, I dunno.
 
I'm just happy the deep pockets of Japan had such a massive donation for the American/European/Australian/MiddleEastern research on Breast Cancer. After all Japan has their own organization, very worldly of them to give it directly to us.

I grew up with ST some as well, doesn't mean I don't realize that it's dated and that Skullgirls would benefit much more from Evo exposure.

FOlks aren't going to start playing ST.

As for VF and wrestling Fans- VF fans would probably the dudes who rate wrestlers on how good their punchers are- so Bobby Eaton would be the greatest wrestler of his age.

Yes, especially on a FORUM, where people are supposed to discuss with each other.

Ignoring people is so fucking stupid. I does not make you a better person if you only hear what you want, nor does it trigger healty discussions. There shouldn't even be such an option. I mean, if you are that childish and cannot handle other opinions or react to them with valid arguments, you shouldn't be a GAF member and rather try to find another forum.

Back on topic. I hope Super Turbo makes it. I'm a huge retro gaming fan and I'd love to see it at EVO.
 
IMO, Super Turbo is cool and all, but I feel like it's had more than enough time in the spotlight. It would be really cool to give an opportunity to other games.

Whatever, though. The whole spectacle and the things it's driving people to do are great. I just hope that if anyone's game doesn't make it in, they don't take it to hard on themselves. It's a good show by all, in the end.

I like the TTOB theory of ignore lists.

You don't get in an argument with the crazy hobo down the block about how gamma rays are turning everyone into reptilians. You just ignore and walk by. Some people are just the crazy, ranting hobos of internet forums.
 
I wonder if we'll see another game thunder into the high ranks and getting competitive with Melee/SG/ST over the next few hours.

Still waiting for Sakurai Salty Snipe for Brawl.
